Brendon, Jason, and Melissa get detention and are forced to come to school on Saturday to serve it. While there, the teacher leaves the room and two other kids serving detention tell them to come outside and pour sugar in the teacher's car's gas tank while the teacher is at the coffee shop. While outside, they notice the teacher coming back early from his coffee break and frantically run back to the room. While it appears they are not caught, the teacher is in the room waiting for them. Because of this, they are forced to participate in "Scared Straight", a program where they go to a minimual-security prison. Instead of being scared straight, Brendon, Jason, and Melissa goof off the entire time, making fun of prisoners and playing scherades while in a cell. Brendon starts laughing at the detention teacher and is about to be sent to another detention, but the prisoner wardon yells at him. In the end, it turns out the detention teacher was fired from his prison guard job because he left a cell open. Meanwhile, Paula watchs a bunch of the kid's movies while they're at the "Scared Straight", and notices that every movie seems to end with the line "It's time to pay the price". Brendon denies this, but after seeing a series of endings, he is convinced he should stop doing that. In the process of filming their new movie, Brendon's ending line is "It's time to pay the pr....".
