Home Run Derby 2010

Show Summary

The 2010 Major League Baseball Home Run Derby takes place at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, CA. It is an interesting contest among the top home run hitters in Major League Baseball to decide who can hit the most home runs. For the most part, the field of players selected consists of four American League players and four National League players. Some of MLB best hitters/sluggers will take part and to present knowledge only Robinson Cano has withdrawn and was replaced by Nick Swisher bringing the number of participants for tonight's Homerun Derby to eight. From the American League we have Nick Swisher (Yankees), Miguel Cabrera (Detroit Tigers), David Ortiz (Boston Red Sox) and Vernon Wells (Toronto Blue Jays). Participating from the National League will be Corey Hart (Milwaukee Brewers), Matt Holliday (St. Louis Cardinals), Hanley Ramirez (Florida Marlins) and Chris Young (Arizona Diamondbacks). This is a very exciting event and has been played since 1985 with some variations of the rules and every year is better than before.moreless
