Sorry, but I belive if you check you will find that Tex Williams made "Smoke, Smoke, Smoke that Cigerette" famous but that's Phil Harris and his band on this episode.

Love Phil Harris...Go to Utube and you will find the version by Tex Williams, His voice is much diffrent than the deeper voice of Phil Harris. And the song has more of the big band sound rather than the old Texas Western sound.

It is awsome that they used the whole song (something not done often in TV) and it protrayes a good story, of back home and Hollywood. Homefront is absolutly one of my favirite shows of all time. To bad it didn't last longer.moreless
