Brody stealthily prays in Arabic at home while his prison guard from Iraq gets captured and extradited to the U.S. for questioning.
Just as Saul's wife, Mira, returns from a visit home to India, he gets called in to question the new witness.
Carrie barges into her sister's house and confronts her dad, who has the same condition as her, we learn, after the two exchange some vulgarities. She takes some of his pills and he makes her a sandwich before she goes.
Soon thereafter, Carrie, Saul, and Brody meet at the interrogation of the witness, Afsal Hamid. Carrie and Brody watch Saul conduct the interrogation from another room. Afsal was Brody's guard and tortured him. When Saul shows the prisoner a picture of Abu Nazir, Brody acts like he doesn't know who he is, even though we know he's met him before.
Later, Brody convinces Carrie and Saul to let him meet his torturer face to face. The two end up in a scuffle and Saul has to break it up.
When Carrie is trying to meet up with Raqim Faisel and he's nowhere to be found, she finds out from Saul that Afsal Hamid committed suicide in captivity. She suspects Brody passed him the blade. She heads to Saul's to express her suspicions. Saul is in the middle of talking to his wife Mira, who wants to leave him. Carrie and Saul argue about Brody and Carrie heads back to her office to start packing her belongings, but later at home she tells her niece it's her job to protect us from terrorists, so it looks like she's not really going to leave the CIA.
Brody prays Christian prayers with his son at home. His son tells him he prays for him to go back to being like he used to be.
