A Homeland Community
Sunday 9:00 PM on Showtime (Returning January 15, 2017)

Showtime is giving viewers a super-sized Homeland to kick off the show's fourth season, the network announced on Monday. The Emmy-winning series will return Sunday, October 5 at 9pm with a two-hour premiere. The scheduling change means the network's ucpoming drama The Affair, starring Dominic West, Maura Tierney, Joshua Jackson, and Ruth Wilson as two couples torn apart by marital infidelity, will now debut Sunday, October 12 at 10pm, one week earlier than previously announced

"In the aftermath of Homeland's stunning finale last season, there is such strong anticipation for the start of Season 4 that we wanted to give Homeland fans an extra generous helping of Carrie and company," Showtime's executive vice president of original programming Gary Levine said in a statement.  "Once we decided to premiere Homeland with a double episode, it made sense to use the momentum of that event to launch our newest series, The Affair, the very next week on October 12."

I'm still eager for the new season of Homeland. While season 3 started off in completely bland chaos that seemed to be going nowhere important, half way through it got VERY focused and very interesting. Sadly, by the very end, it felt like they had little direction left to go. This new season has a whole lot of work to do to get its feet back under it and moving forward .

No most of us are not excited about this show anymore. After that rubbish they called 'Season 3' I think they have lost a significant amount of their viewers. We have better shows to watch now. As for the affair, that's just going to be another one of those show that would get cancelled after 1 season.

What the TV series producers think about the audience. This series has an unfortunate third season and nobody can see this woman with her frenetic behavior again. This series lost it sense and the other serie, "The Affair" possibly won't have no interest too. There are so good stories to make series and they will come with the same trash again.
