  • This is not Game Of Thrones!!!

    1.0
Only in GOT the main character is allowed to die... and not after 3 seasons!!

Invent a way to raise him from the dead. You have just the first episode of season 4 to make things right. After that, we won't watch it.
  • A very brave act...

    9.0
kchurch, you have to think outside the box. The show is not titled "Brody's homeland" but "Homeland" and from the very beginning it was meant to be about national security and not about Brody. I think the writers were very brave by doing what they did and after reading an interview with Showtime's CEO I must say that finally they understood which path shoud they take in order to continue "Homeland" to at least another three or four years.moreless
  • Brody may yet come back (spoiler alert)

    9.0
I am not sure Brody is dead. Did we see an autopsy? We saw a man hanging. And people don't die just from the hanging, but rather the breaking of the neck when the trap door opens. No trap door here. It could have been all staged. After all, the head of the state security can make anything happen. So, I think Damien Lewis will make another appearance on the show in the future.moreless

Wow, I had noidea how this ep was going to play out but all i can say is that it played out pretty shockingly really, i wasleft speachless in more than one occataion, i dont think i fully soaked up what had happend to brody as i woke up at 3am with it on my mind, he will be missed, i just have no idea where the show will go from here.moreless
  • Biggest writing mistake in television history

    1.0
Imagine MASH if Hawkeye had been killed after the third season. Or Madmen is Don Draper had been killed after the third season. This will go down as the biggest writing mistake in the history of television. Did Damian Lewis ask for too much money? A good show is not just about the script, it's about the actors. There were at least 10,000 ways the script could have been written that would have kept Brody in the cast. I agree with the other review that said Claire Danes and Mandy Pitinkin (spelling?) are great, but the show was Damian Lewis. I would bet my house that Homeland is toast. No matter what the script does from here, no matter what actors they add - it will make no difference. Viewership will drop off, ratings will plummet, and this show will be canceled after the fourth season. I'd bet my house on it. I won't be watching it any further, and I'm certain I'm not the only one. What a disaster.moreless
