  • Home Made is my favourite show!

I've been following this show religiously. I always like a good renovation show but Home Made has taken reality renovations to a new level. I've never seen a competition between designers and it really works. I love the characters - especially Jason and although Annie drove me nuts she made for good TV! I'd actually like to know a bit more about them, where they've come from, relationships etc.

The judges are a bit critical but I suppose they know what they are talking about but some more constructive criticism would be nice.

The renovations are fantastic - so many ideas for the DIY guru and it makes you realise what you can achieve for such little money. I highly recommend this show and I'm going to miss it when it's over!moreless
  • awesome concept that takes a fresh look at reality tv, was getting sick of the same old boring themes.

love this show, it offers an interesting insight into interior design and decoration, with reality show twist. Some things, however, are so tv-ish and scripted and off, for use of a better word, ie the whole so and so, step forward and we'll discuss.. So annoying. Pretty cool concept, interesting for people who are into that kinda thing. Love It!! :-)

I love seeing the rooms when they are finished, some great rooms, and some horrible rooms. it shows wat sort of stuff is do-able under a budget and time restraint. For example, the blue wall with all the different squares of blue, white and mirrors. it looked fantastic. :-)

Anyways, this show is definitly worth looking at, if only because ur bored of flicking over the channel and seeing the same reality show three times over, only with a different watermark in the corner.moreless
  • MAKEOVERS, REAL ESTATE, SOAPIE-STYLE COUPLES -- NINE REVISITS ONE OF ITS BIGGEST HIT SHOWS.

Channel Nine set to renovate The Block

Remember Gav & Waz renovating in their underwear? Remember that laugh, Amity recording a pop record on the back of her reality career and bickering couples slamming doors and people up to their arms in plaster?

  • NINE'S RENOVATION SHOW MAY NEED BIG CHANGES IF IT IS TO RISE ABOVE STRUGGLING RATINGS.

Can homeMADE survive a makeover of its own?

After all the hype about the biggest renovation show since the dawn of time, viewers are staying away in droves. At its premiere episode it managed 1.02 million viewers, with 889,000 for the follow-up episode on Tuesday.
