Egan's wife was killed sometime between 7:30 and 9:55 A.M. But, when Briscoe and Curtis arrive at the precinct in Baltimore, the clock behind them is set at approximatley 8:58. So either, 11 hours have gone by in 15 minutes and without the sun setting (as we see when Munch and Briscoe go into the bar), the clock stopped, or they forgot to set it for a more appropriate time.
Reed Diamond does not appear in this episode.
They misspell Lennie's name: they put "Lenny Briscoe" instead of "Lennie Briscoe". The same thing occurs in "Sideshow (2)" in Season 7.
The introduction for this episode aired as the Law & Order episode "Charm City".
Viewers have pointed out to me that the fanatical nut ball in this episode would go onto join Law & Order in the 8th season as recurring character Dr. Emil Skoda and also appear in Tom Fontana's other series, Oz.
Music in this episode: Edwin Hawkins Singers "I'm Going Through" alb: Oh Happy Day; Bill Perry Blues Band "Fade to Blue" alb: Love Scars.
