      • Mr. Jennings: That looks like at like the Guy from Bosom Buddies. Wayne: Tom Hanks? Mr. Jennings: No, the other guy. This is a reference to the show Bosom Buddies, where Peter Scolari who plays Wayne Szalinski for this series played Henry Desmond for the show Bosom Buddies, opposite of Tom Hanks.

      • In the part when Wayne goes into the woods to get the stone, this part was taken from Monty Python and the Holy Grail, since in both movies there is an old man who they have to ask a question(s) and they both ask the same question, "What is your favorite color?"
