Hookwink is a 1981 Australian movie. The film was based off the true
life story of a real Australian con artist. Martin Stang (John
Hargreaves) is in prison for robbery. There he decides to pull off the
biggest con job yet-his escape. Part of his plan involves making
authorities believe that he is blind and no longer a threat to society.
Along the way on his journey to get free, he meets up with the wife of a
clergyman, Sarah (Judy Davis), and the two strike up a relationship.
However, things get complicated when she finds out he isn't really
