  • A good dramedy.

Dramedy was a term that was used in the late 1980's to describe shows like Hooperman and Doogie Howser M.D. These were half hour shows that were not comedies but shows that combined comedy and drama. Hooperman was about a detective named Hooperman played by John Ritter and the goings-on at his station and at his apartment building where he had a romance with Debrah Farentino's character. I thought this show had a lot going for it, but it only lasted two seasons.moreless
