Horizontal Everest is a television show that explores Horizontal Everest. Using breath-taking photography, Jerry Kobalenko, Canadian photographer and journalist, shares 50 hours of exploration. Horizontal Everest is located in the Canadian Northwest Territories. Horizontal Everest is the horizontal version of the well-known Mount Everest. In Historical Everest, Jerry Kobalenko describes his reason for covering Historical Everest and the motivation to get him through it. While on his journey, Kobakenko discovers past discoveries that had been hidden for years. Through challenges, life/death situations, beauty, and amazement, Jerry Kobalenko takes the viewer on a journey never experienced. Very generously, Kobalenko shares the wonderful frozen world of Ellesmere. Ellesmere is the tenth largest island in the world and lies west of northern Greenland. The awe-filled nature and surroundings of this place is perfectly portrayed in Kobalenko's fantastic 50 hour tour of Horizontal Everest.
