This was the second episode of the series, and it focused on Lola's chick. When Lola's pet chicken dies, she goes into a state of moarning, and walks in on her girlfriends making jokes about her. They make up and "drink and dial" They all get drunk and call people. Lola- her vet, Ava- the super, Chloe- her mother, Emerson- her old boyfriend. Lola and Emerson whind up getting dates, while Chloe's mother comes and makes her miserable. The relationship between these two character is hilarious. Ava's super comes and hits on her because of her message. In the end they get Lola a new chick. This episode was hilarious, I was laughing so hard. This show is looking really promising. lets hope it keeps it up.moreless

'Hot Properties' is probably considered more of a chick show. I mean, there's the dating parts, the Oprah references, etc. I, however, enjoy the show as a straight male. First of all, Nicole Sullivan is hot AND talented. She's great as Chloe the girl with no self-confidence whatsoever. This episode helps develop all of the characters. Two of them go on dates and one of them has a mother visit. Before all this, however, they all go to Ava's house and get drunk. They drink and dial, and find themselves suffering the conciquences throughout the rest of the episode. Overall, it was a good installment.moreless
