  • This is the show to watch, if you plan on buying a homw soon.

I like this show because it basically shows you what to look for when buying a home. It tells you how expensive the project can be, and a simple solution for fixing it. I have learned a lot watching this show, from redirecting gutters, to the use, cleaning, and covering of radiators. I learned how to deal with a leaky water heater, and what causes it. I might have to go get a little research from a book if I decide to carry out the maintenance myself, but I know the basics to get rid of that bucket. I recommend this show to any new homebuyer who don't know what to look for.moreless
  • Ann Maurice helps people out...

Ann Maurice shows that there is no way to get your house than to De-clutter over and over again. She has the very tough Grandma attitude when it comes to cleaning the house but she also shows a soft side at times. This show also helps you decide what to do when selling your house and is great to watch.
  • This show has been on BBCAmerica for quite some time.

I have been watching this show for almost two years now on BBCAmerica. An American lady goes into British homes for sale and helps them fix them up for sale. She doen't mince words, and the houses are always improved, if a little bland by the end of the show.

The main reason to watch is the host Alistair

Appleton. Yummy, flirts with the Dr., and helps to smooth things over with the homeowners.

Who knew the British loved printed carpet so much?moreless
