One of the original concepts for the series was to involve the Carter parents as well. Even though the parents are divorced and remarried, the original idea was to have them living in the house as well, but that idea was eventually scrapped.
This episode was filmed the first week of June of 2006.
A week before this episode aired, Aaron broke off his 9-day engagement to Playboy Playmate Kari Ann Peniche. Aaron proposed to Kari on Saturday, September 16, 2006, but called it off 9 days later saying he was "hasty" in proposing and realized he was "not ready" to get married. Peniche, a former Miss Teen USA, had previously dated Aaron's older brother, Nick.
Nick [narrating the series]: My family's problems made the tabloids. My own mistakes did too. We had money and fame but we never actually lived like a normal family. That's all gonna change when I go to record in L.A.
Nick [about B.J.'s boyfriend after he arrives to calm down a drunken B.J.]: Oh My God, I was never so happy to see that guy in my life.
Nick: Maybe if you were in a stronger state of mind...
B.J.: I'll never be in a stronger state of mind until people stop insulting me!
Nick: So then, why can't you be in a sober state of mind?
Angel [to B.J. about Leslie]: Don't go near her. She's The Omen.
Nick [on the phone to his best friend Chris about his family reunion]: This day has become a freaking nightmare. [BLEEP] going insane here.
Angel [discussing Leslie's room]: Like lemons and limes, it's nasty.
B.J.: I like lemons and limes, especially in a vodka drink.
Nick: I just want to bring us guys back together 'cause I'm tired of being apart. We were a very tight unit. That's why we got as far as we got in the first place and because of our love.
Aaron: I can barely remember that 'cause that's like my whole life ago.
Angel: I have some modeling to do.
Nick: You're doing modeling?
Aaron Well, that's a start...
Angel: Excuse you!
B.J. You know what's funny? Is seeing Nick trying to grill.
Leslie: Yeah, he can't cook.
Angel: Yes, he can.
Leslie: No, he can't.
Angel: I didn't think he could change a tire.
B.J.: No, he's estupido.
B.J. [to Nick]: Love ya... sometimes.
B.J. [after Nick suggests they play Ouija board]: No ouija board allowed in this house. I will not sleep in this house. No, I will move out.
Angel: You have nowhere to go, B.J.
Nick Living with (Leslie) is gonna be hard because when she gets pissed, she sees red.
Nick: You gotta help me out a little bit 'cause they're strong personality-wise.
Kenneth [Nick's manager]: You see "nanny" written on my chest?
Nick [narrating the series]: I'm a little nervous because we haven't lived together in 10 years. But in the end, all you have is your family, right?
