  • Good in parts...

I thought this episode was very good in parts, but not quite perfect. I loved Cameron taking Cuddy's roles; it made an interesting contrast between her under House's rules. However, I am very annoyed she lost the position so quickly! It was a perfect opportunity to involved her more in the show. Also, she seems despondent at the end, when, in my view, she should have helped House figure out the real diagnosis. That's who Cameron is to me.

The patient once again started off as interesting, but she faded once more into the background. At first, she seemed a patient quite like the ones from Season 1 and 2, but it seems the writers lost interest in her, as they have been with the patients lately.

Foreman's drama with the drug trial isn't as bad as people suggest. It was quite interesting, especially seeing House's reaction to the news. I thought it showed some good development for both Foreman and Thirteen, and I don't think the drama between them is as bad as some reviewers suggests. It was also a great piece of acting my Lisa Ecclestein as she struggled to cope with being a single mum, but it did take away from the medicine a bit.

Overall, a pretty decent episode but falls short of the very high standards of earlier Seasons. This seems to be a trait with Season 5.
  • Cuddy takes her daughter to work for the first time

In this episode of House, the following happens. When a Special Aid teacher collapses in her classroom, House and the team investigate to find out what is wrong with her. Cuddy admits to Wilson that she doesn't feel anything for her daughter, Rachel. Soon word of this gets back to House and he brings it up with Cuddy when Cameron is in the room. Cameron also seems to like her power and control over House. Foreman has to make a decision about 13, if he should or not to change her medicine to the real drug for her Huntington's disease. By the end of the episode, Cuddy has finally bonded with her daughter. Cameron tells Cuddy that she can no longer do the job. Foreman also decides that he should switch the medicine for 13 and does so. We also see Cuddy leaving her daughter for the first time as she prepares go to back to work.
  • Flawed.

This episode is a fine example of what happens when writer's try to squeeze a large cast into a 45 minute show. While it was nice to see Cameron getting more screen time, allowing her to take over some of Cuddy's duties, which include "babysitting" her former boss, isn't the way to show how much she's learned-or not learned from House. After working with the man for 3 years, one would hope that she knows that House is insane but apparently, she's quite a slow learner in that department. Cuddy's stuggle to decide if she's truly wants to keep her daughter started out as a nice subplot. Her inability to bond with her daughter was something I'm sure plenty of new mothers deal with and showed us that Cuddy is taking motherhood seriously. Wilson's attempt to get Cuddy to reconsider keeping the baby was both sweet and funny. The one thing that I felt was over the top was Cuddy's screaming at the baby. Speaking of baby's-House and the baby seemed to have no trouble in the bonding department which goes to show that even baby's love him.

Lastly, I did enjoy watching Foreman stuggle with what to do concerning Thirteen's drug trial. While I'm not sold on Foreman and Thirteen as a couple, they do have some great interactions. I also find myself feeling sorry for Thirteen, who wants to believe that she can plan a bit further into the future. All in all, nothing was surprising in the end. Cameron's reign of terror was short lived and hope fully the audience will not have to watch her give into House and his insanity.
  • A lot of mixed feelings and allusions regarding the characters' interconnections, and of course the typical and expected great acting, fast direction and an interesting problem to solve.

This was an episode that in all was as good as we have come to expect from House by now. Hugh Laurie surpassing himself and making us love the most un-loveable character televised medicine has ever produced (House is like the Black Adder of medicine!), ironic and clever remarks, House - Cuddy clashes, and another riddle of a case to solve. Of course, House handles it excellently performing one of his impossibly illogical operations to come to a completely logical and unexpected conclusion and cure the patient.

Character-wise I was a bit confused though. First, what happened to House and Cuddy re-animating their interest for one another? I feel the writers shouldn't have abandoned that aspect so quickly. Things were finally beginning to warm up between them, and then they were abruptly ended and now it seems as if none of it ever happened. In my opinion that is a mistake, there should've been more tension and aknowledgement of the fact between them.

Secondly, this episode was so out of character for Cameron. She came off as this cold, indifferent, confused person that cared more about administration and beating House in his own game than curing the patient. That isn't like her at all and it wasn't believable.

Finally, there should be a little more warmth between Forman and Thirteen. At the moment they are not at all convincing about being a couple. A little more spark there guys!! Though this is a plot twist I definitely like, and in this episode we see another side of Forman, in that he is willing to give up his medical ethics in order to save Thirteen. There may be something long-lasting there. And the part about Cuddy not loving her baby at first, was a very realistic intake on how career mothers feel with handling children and work at the same time. I was glad they didn't present her as this overly happy soccer mom, that would've been way out of character for her.
  • Good to see so much of Cameron.

It was great to see so much of Cameron. Now we need more of Chase.

Cameron knowing House was just testing her for the radiation test was good. All of her scenes with House were great although could have done without House's crude comments, although I guess that is what House does to Cuddy.

Maybe Wilson should be the one having sex with Cuddy this year, not House. He was really caring towards her while House was telling her she was a crappy mom. It was funny how Wilson came up with the story about the picture of her baby when she was 18 and it turned out it was just a random picture. However, remember when he used to be a doctor?

Could have done without all of the Cuddy baby drama stuff. Hopefully now Cuddy is used to the baby, it will fade into the background.

I realize Kutner didn't want House to cut into the woman's brain but as Cameron pointed out, Cuddy knew nothing of the case. Plus, why wait until the woman was in surgery to call? Why not call once he knew the surgery was going to happen?

So Cameron and Chase tell Foreman not to be an idiot and House pretty much says the same thing except if Foreman loves 13, and Foreman changes the meds? Pretty early to love someone considering they just started dating last episode.

At least they didn't make Cameron fail just to show how awesome Cuddy is. I can understand Cameron for quitting. When she was on House's team, she could let Cuddy know about dangerous tests but she wasn't actually the one that had to decide. She realizes House is almost always right so she will side with him.

The team take on the case of a Special Education teacher who spits up blood and collapses in the middle of class. Meanwhile, Cameron finds herself taking on some of Cuddy's duties, including dealing with House, and Foreman has to make a decision concerning Thirteen's participation in the clinic trials. House is starting to get hard to watch. It's almost to the point where I can't even make it through the hour anymore. Cuddy has baby duties that she has to deal with - which causes Cameron to take over her position. I thought this one episode storyarch was pretty dumb, as Cameron gives back the job after one whole episode. The case was pretty boring too. Nothing really amazing here. House figures out the case and while he does it he pokes fun out of the relationship with Foreman and Thirteen. Foreman goes through some drama of his own when he plays around with trying to decide if he should help Thirteen or not. Looks like this will carry over into the next epsiode, which is a mixed bag. It seems too soon for me to really care about that relationship, not to mention that I almost don't at this point anyway. Overall - House just doesn't have what it takes anymore. House still has good scenes but evetything else just seems like its been done before.
  • House and his team deal with a special education teacher who coughs up blood. Cameron takes on Cuddy's job head on, while Cuddy has emotional maternal problems for her child.

I thought this episode was better than the previous one by fair. I liked this episode, it was touching. However, I thought it was subtle and fairly safe, nothing happened, really. I'm starting not to like Cameron more and more, she seemed like a jerk in this episode. I thought House's character was less witty in this one, but it was better than last episode's. I liked how Cuddy felt nothing for her baby at first, it really reflects on problems that some mothers are dealing with today. I'm glad that Cuddy rethought her decision to give the baby back, it really showed character development, another side of Cuddy I've only seen once before. Good character development and relationship in this episode. I really don't think Foreman's and Thirteen's relationship is necessary, it seems like a third wheel to me. We've got House and Cuddy, Cameron and Chase, and now Foreman and Thirteen. I think the writers are starting to get a little ahead of themselves. I don't see Foreman and Thirteen's relationship going anywhere at all. In fact, I thought their acting was a little bad towards each other, making their relationship seem unconvincing, to me. All in all, I really liked this episode and was a huge improvement from last week's episode.
  • House solves another one, this time no pain pills needed

I thought this was a great episode. I think I figured out why the show is so addicting. The way they shoot the scenes, cutting from camera to camera, ...it is like they are flashing pictures at you, .. maybe this affects the brain somehow. Anyway, this shows why the last episode was not that good. Supposedly House's pain was getting worse, but in this episode he did not take one pain pill, that I noticed. I liked that they got canmeron involved. I'm still having difficulty with there being too many short scenes, some at like 15 seconds. And in the longer scenes, they change the camera shot ever 3-5 seconds. Its very choppy. I am also haveing a problem with predictability in the show. Without fail, the paitient has a heart attack in every episode and needs the defibulator. And they the same old saying--- you want me to yes because you are house-----, heard that 100 times before, ...Also, I think the off color remark about house wanting ----sex from cameron was not warranted. There are too many characters now, 9, and too many scenes, and its too choppy. I hope they shoot some shows more like a stage play. But I gave it a 10 because it was pretty good,

I think that first 3 season were the best ever....I don't like when new team arrives....I don't like changes if you can say that....changes are not that better that somebody thinks, maybe it's not means always bad but neither means good right?....what I can say about this episode it was pretty booring, but I think that House and Caddy should be together because she's the only one who can stand him :D....yes and i would like to see more Cameron and Chase that would be just great....maybe than episodes will be a little bit more exciting....hey does anyone know when it ends?...

The only word to describe this episode in incredible, it had everything a good House episode needs. An intriguing case, love between 13 and Forman, tension between Cameron and House and Cuddy struggling with motherhood. After first seeing the trailer I was excited, I had been disappointed by the previous episode and I was skeptic about this one but it had me at hello. The case was great, it had me wonder from the start but it wasn't what made this episode great, it was all the rest. Like the relationship between 13 and Forman, it started off as something that didn't really interests me but now it got me hooked. When I see that Forman is willing to risk his career for her I just can't wait to see what happens next.

I loved the scene between House and Forman, when Forman asks House for advice. I gives you a little glimpse into House and Forman's mind. This could of course be just me :-D.

Struggling Cuddy, wow that was a surprise to me, I never thought that she would get bounding issues. We see the new mom finding it difficult to bond with the baby, here's where Wilson finally comes into play. And of course the Cameron House situation. It could've been much bigger with a lot more struggle between them; a lot of people probably are disappointed about what happened, but I thought it was just perfect.

The only thing didn't like, ore better that I missed, where some Wilson House scene's. Else this was an amazing episode and I can't wait about next weeks episode.
  • Special education teacher collapses in class. House clashes with staff over reasons. House plays mind games with Cameron. She can hold her own. Foreman has trouble dealing with the knowledge that 13 is not getting meds. Cuddy doubts motherhood.

This was not my favorite episode by far. Putting Cameron over house was a great idea and I would have liked to seen it continue. The dynamic would be a refreshing change from the sexual tension with Cuddy. Cuddy needs to get it together. I enjoy the character more when she is stronger. Wilson was great ths episode. The plot was too familiar. I kept thinking I had seen this episode already. I know it is hard to figure out new ways patients can spit up blood but I have faith. Foreman should be smarter than that. What is up with Chase? Is he trying to be the house of surgery. Shave and a haircut.

I was glad that House seemed almost happy this episode. He was enjoying the Cameron mind game as was I. He can't be happy for the sake of being happy, that would ruin the show. Being happy in a dark way is fine. He is the hero after all.

Cuddy is off to deal with baby and feels not too happy with staying home and letting Cameron run her responsibilities. It was great to have Cameron more around as for me the original team, is still the team and I am always happy when we get more of them around.

I loved that this episode was around the case and it really had that great feeling - trying to figure out what is wrong and nothing seems to fit. And House playing that " say yes, say no" game.. a great interlude for time. And it looks like everything will be back for same in next episode.

This episode was a bit of a disappointment for me. They could have done something really fun with Cameron being in charge and instead her and Houses interactions were rather boring and low-key. I guess we learned that only Cuddy can really deal with House. We also learned that House does not explode when holding a baby. I really wish that we would get more scenes of House and the baby. Also, it appears Foreman is going to risk his career for Thirteen. This seems very out of character for him. The case was also a bit flat this week. I hope for more fun banter to begin next week.

wow House is back on the right track after a mediocre at best filler episode. This one tells a very good main story of a woman that passes out while taking care of autistic children. The side stories are also very intriguing with Cuddy slowly becoming closer with her baby as well as Cameron struggles to keep control of House as well as a very good side story about Foremans love for 13 which forces him to possibly put his medical liscense in jeaordy. House continues to be harshly honest with Cuddy when it comes to the baby and also shows his good side when Foreman asks for his oppinion on whether or not to take 13 off of the placebo. This is yet another good episode of one of the best shows on TV.
