  • House and Co. must treat a man who is convinced that he is going to die in the next few weeks. House thinks he is hearing voices and may suffer from psychosis.

This season has started with a bang and things are keeping up at that pace. It seems like the patients are getting more fascinating while House and the lives of the people around him are becoming more and more intriguing.

This week House and team are handed a case of a man who reports into the hospital with a collapsed lung and a few broken bones. He is a risk taker and this is because he is convinced that he is going to die in a matter of weeks. Three generations of the males in his family have died from heart problems and he is convinced the same will happen to him. The usual House formula ensues with a few nice twists that I don't want to give away.

Meanwhile, Chase is still suffering the torment of his guilt for killing Dubala. He refuses to tell Cameron and House insists that he needs help as it is affecting his job. But Chase refuses to let anyone in and this arc looks like it will carry on for a few more eps to come.

Wilson is having trouble with House as he finally decides to let house have the study that is converted into a bedroom. But things go arye when House starts hearing voices, out of fear he quits the hospital with plans to readmit himself back into the psych ward.

All in all this was a real quality ep with a great patient and some new developments in the lives of the regular characters. This is show that is just going from strength to strength and needless to say I will be back next week!

Another great installment of this very successful story arc involving Chase murdering someone. I'm glad it's not always the primary focus of the show, it's always left in the sidelines so it can drag on for a bit. Nothing really changed by the end, other than Cameron getting more suspicious but it was still good development regardless.

We got another interesting medical mystery tonight with the "instant self-destruct button" disorder. Not the actual name, just how I remember it by. Also House hears voices, the scene with the sound-check lady was pretty funny and I'm amazed how long this Amber thing has been going on, but yet, it still manages to be entertaining.

Overall, we got all the entities that make a great episode of House. Interesting medical mystery, intriguing character development and just great interactions in general. Great installment.
  • In this episode life goes on at Princeton Princeboro and the old team is back.A policeman who has never married or had long term committment because he's afraid he'll die at 40 years like his father and grandfather before him is the case.

Frankly i loved this episode.apart from the story of this guy who shunned love cause he didnt want anyone to suffer the pain of losing him when he died, Chase character is undergoing turmoil because of his decision in the Dibala case(frankly i think he did the right thing). His confession scene with the priest am afraid just reaffirmed my decision to be done with religion!such hypocrisy!!!But Chase is a decent human being and i think he needs to unburden himself to his wife or go see House's shrink.

I never thought House liked Chase i guess i was wrong ,in his own gruff way he likes Chase i know now.

Foreman also i liked in this episode i never thought he'll go through this with Chase.I wonder if he thinks Chase and Cameron are friends of his now, cause you'll only do what he did for Chase by helping him coverup for the best of your pals. I wish i had a friend like Wilson. I think i understand more why House would rather lose a patient than lose Wilson's friendship. This episode shows the man-tender nature of their friendship. And House talking to his father Wow. i guessed he had issues there.now i know

Finally House and Cutty,am glad things might be getting back, i think House was avoiding her after his breakdown maybe he was ashamed.I always liked the strong Cutty who'll stand up to House and not back down.
  • A touching episode

I think this episode was truly great.

I loved the opening scene, great music and physical abylities. The case was very interesting and I was especially surporised with the whole "back from the dead" thing.

Chase's inner dillema was very pronounced in this episode and I think that his scene with the priest was extremely touching. I think that he should tell Cameron about it, because she's his wife and she loves him. I'm really happy that Foreman and House acted like true friends and very supportive.

I think that there were lot of Huddy moments in this episode, and I espeially loved the "It's not hate, it's foreplay" line.

All in all, a wonderful episode, I just hope that thirteen and Taub come back, but the old team is a nice refreshment.
  • Really strong episode- House continues to heal

I really loved this episode after last weeks slight let down.

House really shows his emotional growth in this episode. The scenes with him and Wilson were the most memorable in a long time, with Wilson talking to Amber in his sleep. House talking to his dad at the end was really touching, and shows just how far hes come.

The patient was actually interesting as well, especially during the "death scene"! The autopsy was just scaring! I really enjoyed the character, however, and his medical mystery was just brilliant, as well as finding out why he didn't want to be the father at first- it was nice to see him take responsiblity at the end.

Chase being affected by the dictator case was also really effective- hes clearly struggling, and that is clear in the scene in the confession room. It was probably some of Jesse Spencers best work. Really strongly done.

Cameron yet again seems to have little character development, but her scenes with Chase were strong.

Overall, a much better episode that last weeks, keeping up a strong season so far.
  • House M.D.: “Brave Heart”. First, few words about the content of the episode.

    House M.D.: "Brave Heart"

Dr. Wilson: If you need to talk, if you need more help…

    House: I’m just tired.

    Dr. Wilson: I’m right here.

House: Great. Can you be right here… somewhere else?

House M.D.: “Brave Heart”. First, few words about the content of the episode. “The team takes on the case of a reckless police detective who has a family history of sudden heart failure that killed his father, grandfather and great-grandfather all at age 40. Though House is not keen on diagnosing the patient without any detectable symptoms, the team, urged by Cameron, attempts to identify his condition so the detective can live without fear of dying young. Meanwhile, Chase is haunted by his actions in the Dibala case, and House confronts some ghosts of his own”. Interesting, isn’t it? Incidentally, the episode is quite tense. Tension in the air as always can dilute the humor… But even Greg has problems, old problems with… voices in his head. Finally, it turned out that the blame… And as you think? Who? No, not Kutner. No, not even Amber. Yes! Correct! Wilson! Yeah… His night dialogues with Amber aren’t a joke. Poor House… “That night House starts to have a Wilson-like conversation with his dead father. He bangs on the wall and yells at Wilson that it is not working. Wilson hears this, smiles, and tells Amber: “He really is getting better”.

I am glad that the old team is back. Not the Olivia Wilde was not easy to look at and that Taub was not super annoying (actually he was), but the original four of Cameron, Chase, Foreman and House is why this show became good and at least they're bringing it back until the married couple leaves the show.

The medical mystery in tonight's episode was fine, I suppose, and I admit to actually jumping when the man woke up despite the fact that it was on the commercial. That being said, it wasn't great, and I doubt I'll remember this for weeks to come.
  • Another top episode from House this week. Loved it!

The structuring of the episodes is starting to revert back to the first 4 seasons with the old team coming back and everything. In my opinion that's a good thing, strong character episodes in House are always great but if you put too many of them in a row the show starts to lose its distinctly medical character. So having a highly interesting medical case along with character development is great, and this is what this week's episode was.

First of all, the patient case was very original, and the team is starting to throw in lots of new ideas, which has the viewer wondering and paying attention to understand everything clearly. House is still very perceptive when it comes to other people's real motives, he immediately caught up on the cop's real reason for not wanting to connect with his kid, it was the commitment that scared him more than the disease. On the one hand the disease was a constant source of worry for him, but on the other it provided him with a carte blanche for doing things and avoiding taking responsibility for them. Which makes the connection to Chase, who avoids taking responsibility for removing a human life, because the person he killed was a ruthless mass murderer. Chase's scenes with Cameron as well as the confession with the priest (and generally the whole breakdown thing) was very well done. I love the insight on Chase's character and am really touched by his drama. My personal opinion with regard to what the priest told him, well... I think the priest was right to identify Chase's own need to assume responsibility for his actions, his guilt is obviously what causes all the problems. Apart from that however, the whole part about "You don't have the right to take lives, only God does", I don't know, I don't sign it to the passive acceptance of everything as God's will. It's like refusing to acknowledge there are immoral, ruthless people in this world who harm others. A religion who accepts the existence of evil and then asks people not to do anything about it, well, sounds pretty contradictory to me. Bad things and bad people exist in the world, and if nobody does anything about it they're just going to continue doing it. If Chase hadn't killed the dictator he would've killed thousands of people instead. How is that a good thing? I don't think Chase should go to jail for what he did. But that's just my own personal opinion. The storyline in Wilson's house was also very engaging. I honestly started to worry House was having his hallucinations again. Almost had a stomachache laughing when I realized it was just Wilson talking to Amber... And House trying to talk to his father, hilarious! At least he's making an effort with style. I thought the House-Cuddy thing was definitely over but after today, it seemed they might revive it, at least for a little bit. And the autopsy scene, wow! Definitely didn't expect that one! When the patient died so early in the episode I was a little confused, admittedly, but reviving him in the middle of an autopsy... I didn't see that one coming!
  • New week, still old team with Foreman in charge.

So Cameron still runs the ER and works for House? Does she sleep?

Understandable for Cameron to take the case, Foreman not so much. Seems like Foreman has to show his power by going against House and taking the case. I think that may be the only reason. In the past, he has always complained about cases that didn't seem interesting (episode with the homeless lady that had rabies, episode he was in charge and kicked out the horse track lady).

Haha, House messing with the new people to try and manipulate the doctor to sign off on the 120 hours. How much has he really changed?

Makes sense that Chase would be affected by the murder. I thought it was a little strange he wasn't affected last episode but maybe he was too worried about covering it up.

Haha, Chase trying to play along with House with the fake diagnosis. His face and stumbling over everything, seems weird the patient didn't catch on but I guess you believe doctors. I wonder why Foreman or at least Cameron didn't stick up for keeping the patient.

Don't do it, Chase. Cameron is eventually going to find out, especially if you keep acting weird. Be better to hear it from you.

Good job by the EMT's (sarcasm). It's never a good thing if you wake up during your own autopsy. And pretty good timing to wake up before Foreman did anything major.

So House thinks he is hearing voices and he goes to an ear doctor? What about his psychiatrist? And a little weird Wilson still has all that stuff with Amber and is still talking to her. Didn't we go through this with the coffee mug and he got over it and could move on?

Good grief, more random people thinking House and Cuddy have the hots for each other.

It was good to see House obsessing over medicine again when he was in his office.

Interesting that House tried talking to his dad. I was disappointed that they never approached all the things that led to his hallucination and just chalked it down to vicoden. We had his hand in Amber's death, his dad dying, finding proof his dad wasn't his dad (it is one thing to suspect, another to have proof), and Kutner's suicide and everything just got chalked down to vicoden, despite the fact he had been taking it for years with no problems.
  • "Brave Heart" is a very entertaining chapter of the House universe from start to finish. This episode warns fans to expect the unexpected.

With Taub and Thirteen out of the picture, the classic House recipe, with a few tweaks, is back and stronger than ever.

"Brave Heart" will undoubtedly make you jump out of your seat and leave your jaw dropped at all the twists and turns that the writers have thrown in for our enjoyment.

The patient this time around is a selfish, destructive cop, Donny, who believes he will face the same fate as his father and grandfather, both of whom fell victim to heart disease at age 40. As Cameron puts it, Donny is a "genetic time bomb."

The team is very stressed and confused throughout the entire process of diagnosing Donny. This just makes the story even more compelling.

The most enjoyable scene of "Brave Heart" has got to be when Foreman and House do Donny's autopsy. Just seeing the look on Foreman's flabbergasted face as Donny woke up made me laugh. This was an awesome addition to the entertainment factor of the show and will always make this episode memorable.

Meanwhile, the writers for House have decided to take everyone's favorite Australian, Chase, and flush his morale and down the drain. We haven't seen him like this since "The Mistake".

Chase used to be a fun, likable character who was always there to intubate patients in dire times. He used to make us laugh when he tried to joke around with House. Now, Chase is just a rundown, miserable, guilt-ridden surgeon whose life is heading way downhill. His excuse is simple: "I crossed some line, and I'm having trouble coming back to the other side."

Speaking of crossing lines, House shows a very surprising, touching moment of humanity when he tries "speaking" to his dead father. Moments like these are so emotional and amazing that they help us remember why we love this show. House is, indeed, crossing over to the good side.

House and Cuddy get some nice chemistry going near the end of the episode, but it is obviously too early for House to be going after her, again, just yet.

Season six of House is going in a very interesting direction, and I hope it continues to entertain and surprise us in the episodes to come.
  • Continuing list of amazing episodes in this season.

Every episodes what comes this seasons seems to be quite a masterpiece. I mean, there hasn't been no weak episode. No filler episode. Only one major, good, moving or any other way described episode after another. This one was no exception.

The start of the episode was already thrilling. Having that really intense and dynamic movement, that music, the camera work. All those elements combined made something not very House-like.. and my sister was already checking if we are watching the right thing.. but soon it took the turn to more usual House episode.

I loved the idea with the case. They did not had no usual case. No mysterious symptom (or can it call a symptom that everyone in the family dies when turning to 40). They were not sure if they had a case and the way House dealt with it and the surprise they got. I mean. That was just a brilliant twist - both of them. The death and not the death. My sister almost yelled when the autopsy scene had it's twist. A really good way of storytelling.

Also, the personal and more of the char storylines were brilliant. I loved House's new hallucinations and the way we learned much more of Wilson and his way of dealing with it all. And then Chase - probably he has got all the best of the char storylines lately and to see him looking almost broken.. and that confession in church. I really liked that turn.
  • Now that was what I call a good episode!

    That was one great episode!

I loved the start, cops chasing a bad guy, the flying, running and everything, very, very hot!

Than the guy jumping from roof to roof, i thought that he was going to end his life, but he survived. Pretty hot guy btw. Than the testing and everything. I loved how House made up a decease. And then the guy dying, It really threw House off, loved to see that. But when he turned out to be still alive, men that gave me a scare!

I liked the struggle of Chase, i hope he is going to tell Cameron soon, she deserves to know what is going to happen. All though she is going to kick his ass for doing it.

The whole whisper thing was good, at first i was a little afraid that it would go one and one and be dragged in to the next couple op episodes. But they didn't. Yay for that!
