FOX (ended 2012)
House is not a typical hospital drama , So it'd be more fair to compare Grey with ER or Chicago Hope or whatever. (Grey's the best ) but as i said house is different , more clever , more focused , and dr house is more interensting then the sum of all grey characters. so , the house always wins. (is there a fine for bad word jokes? )))
I watch them both, and since they're both so diametrally diferent I really son't think you can say one or the other.
House is focused more on House (dah!), the patients, and their relation with the patients.
Grey's Anatomy on the othe hand has a lot more to do with the doctors relations between themselves, the patinets play a minor role to test the doctors relations. On House the patient is just a fuel rod for good old Greg to bark at everyone.
I watch them both and really like them both, so the answer is House and G's A.
Grey's Anatomy is a soap opera-ish dramedy that uses the setting as a niche backdrop for the drama. It's about the flings and fights, not medicine.
House focuses on both the emotional turmoil with House and his team/co-workers (including Wilson and Cuddy), but strikes a balance between the importance of the case at hand and the problems plaguing the staff.
The pace of the episode is moved along by the new symptoms of the patient(s).
Overall, it just feels like a medical show with character development as a side dish. Grey's could easily take place in a lawfirm, out in the field for the FBI, or any other drama you could think of right now. The medicine isn't the focus, and I wish people would quit acting like it is.

I can't help but be reminded of my favorite joke on Scrubs (which rox as well):
Elliot: "Oh, let's go to my place and watch Grey's Anatomy!"
-JD looks up into the sky, reflective-
JD:"Man, that's a great show. It so accurately depicts our lives and what goes on in a hospital."
-Elliot and JD sit to reflect on the topic-
Lord, was it petty/accurate, and man did I love it.
