I think its REALLY REALLY retarded to ask this in a House forum. Its like going to Greenbay and asking which they prefer Packers or Colts.

House,of course! I remember watching most of (what I believe was)the pilot to Grey's Anatomy at a relative's house.I didn't know what it was called at the time but as I was going home with my mom I remember saying something along the lines of,"you wouldn't believe this awful show I just watched. It sucked so bad.No way it'll last."

After it got popular,I tried watching again to see if it had improved and it hadn't.I can't stand it.It's just a silly, sophomoric soap.

House,on the other hand, had me hooked from the get-go.I got the Season One DVD to try it and that pilot, unlike GAs,was amazing.House is the absolute best character on TV.And he has more charisma in one eye than all of the Grey's cast have in their whole bodies.Plus,House is able to balance the medical drama along with the personal issues.I enjoy the medical mysteries, but I watch it more for the character stuff. The character development for the most part is fairly realistic. And the writing is so good.Oh well,I could go on forever about how amazing House is.

(And,as far as sexiness,I'll take House over "McDreamy" in a heartbeat.)

While they are both medical dramas..."Grey's Anatomy" focuses on the personal lives of the interns and uses the medical stories as a metaphor for the storyline. "House" doesn't do that. So I don't think it's fair to compare them. Besides, McDreamy or House? Come on!
I totally agree. I like them both. And they're so different, that it's unfair to compare them. McDreamy would definitely be my first choice. Unless it's medical it would be House.

I agree, eheheh. I love both shows. House is better if you want great medical cases, Grey's Anatomy is better if you want see the personal relationship and all the drama that involves. But I think Grey's Anatomy is losing a little ofits magic in the last season.

    House for sure.

Grey's is way overlydramatic. House is clever and fun. But I do agree with that first poster. They are very different.

It's one totally unfair question!!!! Coase everyone on this board would say HOUSE,but in fact Greys is so much more romantic ,if it wasn't for House's total hotness and Huddy,I would never watch it - who needs all the gross operations and parasites ...and the police detective who tried to bust House...not 17 years old I would say - cool guitar, and hot romanses that's what we need...Oh, and the wedding finale - I want to believe in magic and Grey's way ahead on that...

I dont Know, Greys always makes me feel so dirty and it makes me feel more unintelligent than before I watched it. And I dont Like this. I can feel my brain and soul dying during Greys, Unlike House which just makes me feel down right Einstein Like, as well as super cool.

    McDreamy is hotter than House.
But I don't know. I'd take them both.

there's an interview with Jesse Spencer and Lisa Edelstein where they talk about how Grey's is filled with sex and none of that is on House. That's why I like House better. They don't have to just use sex to get an interesting story

i watch each for different reasons. more grey's anatomy just the convenience of when it comes on, but i love watching house it's just that i've missed so many eps 'cos of work. there's way too many soap opera storylines in grey's now it's putting me off.
