House any day, i used to watch Grey's but now it's gotten horrible. The writiers are forcing parings and everything and the drama just doesn't seem as good. Even though house does have a forumla for every episode it's still ahead of the curve.

It depends if you want to entertained or educated. If you want to be entertained go with Grey's but if you want to know about medicine go with House. On House we learn about mysterious illnesses and how to take care of ourselves. While on Grey's I'm entranced by Meredith and Derek and everyone else.

I'd say House is far more entertaining than Grey's. Grey is almost a soap.

I cant believe how long this redicolous question continues to be discussed.

    OK, I'll bite too.

The only thing that GA and HOUSE have in common is that they are "medical tv-shows.". They both have doctors, stethoscopes, patients, intubations and deceases. But I believe it's not the stethoscopes that attracts both shows' fandoms to them, don't we? So actually there's nothing to compare, even the approach to medical issues and medicine is completely different.

It is like comparing "The Godfather" to "Die Hard" because there is some guns in both of them, or "The Bridges Of Madison Country" to "You've Got Mail", because there is some love in both of them!

Of course I'm exaggerating, and I actually like Die Hard and the other examplory loser (and GA happens to entertain me), but the question is that we are talking about completely different styles, universies and intelectual gratification!

All lines that come out of House's mouth - I think no-one in GA could ever be able not just to utter, but to imagine. I don't want even to discuss House as a character in such thread, but even all of the secondary characters in HOUSE are far more complex than any in GA. Leave alone the doctors, even the patients' lines, minds and stories in HOUSE are far more true moral and intellectual challenges for a serious viewer than anything in GA. And what about Hugh Laurie, I seriously doubt that anyone from GA can hold a candle to his unbelievably great performance.

So, I can say that in HOUSE or around it, there are at least 3 geniuses: House as a character, Hugh Laurie as an actor, David Shore as a creator. And I don't want to be offensive, but i feel obliged to say the following: GA can be nice, can be good or even excellent in what it's doing... but it could never be genius.

"McDreamy" looks like he's passive aggressive in real life. Girls who clamor to that show just use the medicine to justify getting off on it.

House, M.d of course, the rare disease is most fascinating & the symptoms leading up to it & the treatment.

Gray's Anatomy is a people/relationship thing , with less focus on the disease.
