As long as we're all having fun, learn more about our beloved character and ease the symptoms of the HGD (House Gap Disease)

And yes, Emilia's thread is also really great!!!

We already agreed that this is the best forum with the nicesest (and modest) people, didn't we?

Oh, yes, we're becoming more like House every day!

He was telling the truth in 'Son of Coma Guy', and joking in 'Humpty Dumpty' about the strip club. House tends to lie to hide his personal life. However, when he promises to do something, he will follow through. He promised to answer Gabe's questions in order to get answers. So, I would go with the paintball meeting. Also, I could not see Stacy being in a strip club for any reason.

What personal life? I thought that was why he so "cleverly has no personal life".

Hugh and Jennifer came up with that on their own, I saw the commentary, so, visually speaking, it was a great House/Cameron moment.

House has never had a dog("Daddy's boy") and even doesn't love poppies("Three stories"),but he's had(still has?) a rat, whom he cought in Stasy's house , cured from micoplasmosis and named Steve McQuine.("Hunting")House didn't want to use Steve as a lab rat,but had to do it one time in "Euforia",fortunately rats don't get sick of neglirias.Unfortunately,we've never seen Steve ever since.

Olgkap you are an amazing source of information!

House also loves to bet - with people (Paternity, Humpty Dumpty) and on horses (Deception).

His friend from college, Crandal, calls him the G-man

He plays the piano and the gitar.

Music he likes: Jazz (DNR), classical music (lots of eps) any other types anyone noticed?

Opera (Autopsy). There was one other type he was listening to when he bought his motorcycle, not sure which. HL wasn't actually riding the motorcycle either, towards the end of the show.

When Wilson was living with House, he made a remark about House having a season pass to the Yankees workshop. I don't think it was a reference to the baseball team since House replyed that it was fun to watch an idiot working with power tools.

House has seen every horror movie ever made. Likes watching Matlock and considered Party of Five to be the OC of it's time. Watching the OC makes House happy and he's addicted to General Hospital. He's a great poker player, loves video games, reuben sandwiches(dry, no fries, no pickles)and making remarks about Cuddy's breasts.

    Welcome aboard Oveg!

House said to Foreman before his "date" with Cameron that he's ""got a case of malt liquor stashed in the trunk, Mr. Marvin Gaye on the CD, we are gonna get all the way down."

He apparently loves Spandex (to Cameron: "Regarding wardrobe: are you too young to remember spandex?")

He hates ties, he doesn't know how to have casual conversation. "You think you’re talking about one thing, and either you are and it’s incredibly boring, or you’re not because it’s subtext and you need a decoder ring."

    He thinks he's damaged.

    all from Love Hurts

House likes to have a drink (which hi's been doing  in many eps.), but  that somehow not slowing his ability to think.("Honeymoon").He enjoys  smoking sigars. His food(exept infamuos Reubin,of corse) is peanut sandwiches and canned soup(according to Wilson),but he has quiet a kitchen  with many  fancy cooper pans.He still has his golf clubs in the closet and his high school year book(I think it means he's sentimental...go figure).

He keeps his secret, secret stash of Vicodin in a Lupus book because "it's never Lupus."

Just thought of that one. Still thinking of others.

Edit : Thought of one more.

House avoids work like the plague, unless it actually is the plague. (According to Stacy)

House: Oh, aren't you adorable.  I'm not sad, just complicated.  Chicks dig that.  You'll understand someday.

He identifies with people with neurological problems, unless he says they have a neurological problem.  Then they just have a jelly problem.

He identifies with kids.  He also helps people inadvertantly by helping them observe.  His main belief is "Everybody lies."  He visualizes a circle where everyone inside the circle is normal and everyone outside the circle is beaten and broken and reset so they can be brought into the circle.  Failing that, they get institutionalized.  He would rather give people a second chance than condemn them.  Millions of people are obsessed with him even though he's fictional.   He has blue eyes (not to be forgotten).

He also identifies with people in pain, causing him pain.

In order to think clrealy, House needs to have the TV on, preferably with a good soap, a baseball game or a monster truck competition. The noise helps him think.

He also concentrate much better if he plays with any of his toys - yoyos, balls, and/or his cane. Computer games are a favorite, as are gameboys and such.

He loves practical jokes (Wilson is a favorite target - Safe) and welcomes pranks done to him as well (broken cane scene - Safe)

He hates new age medicine: "Hang up a shingle and condemn the narrowness and greed of Western medicine, you’d make a damn fine living." (Love Hurts)

He's really not into people peeing on him (Love Hurts)

He loves recreational drugs - would be happy to get one of Wilson's joints if only Wilson wasn't such a kill joy!

    You are so right...

But I ask you - how can a grown up who loves red lolipops NOT be real?

He is real on a certain level, isn't he? How else would "Millions of people obsessed with him"??
