What was the point of having the opening scene so long?
I find it hard to believe House didn't know what Wilson's first wife looked like. The timeline of everything prior to the pilot is a little confusing because 3 Stories doesn't exactly match up with other episodes that talked about the past, so maybe he didn't know Wilson during the first marriage. But even if House didn't know Wilson then, I find it hard to believe that he didn't try and find out what Wilson's first wife looked like. And now I am completely confused. House didn't recognize Sam but he knew what Wilson was like after the marriage ended? And how does Cuddy know what Wilson was like after the first marriage ended?
I had to laugh at House's plan to ruin the dinner completely backfiring.
The patient's eyes were a little creepy.
I wonder if Wilson still talks to Amber before he goes to sleep. That might be a little weird for Sam.
So 13 encouraged Wilson to ask Sam out but then says he is making a mistake?
All they needed for this patient to be the same as the firefighter in Words and Deeds was for his memories to be fake (being in love with friend's/brother's fiancé but not wanting to break up marriage that was soon going to happen). And then we get someone poisoning someone else, same as Clueless. And by hemlock, which was one of the ideas for poison in Mob Rules. Ah, and roids, same as one of the ideas in Sports Medicine. Seems like the writers are running out of ideas for the patients.
No mention of Cameron's visit last week, although I doubt Chase was in a sharing mood to tell everyone he signed divorce papers.
I noticed that they showed House rubbing his leg a few times during the episode. And Foreman mentioned it to 13. And they showed it bothering him during one of the differentials and popping pills a few times. I wonder if they are setting up a leg pain storyline for later in the season. Up until now, they haven't really mentioned how House has been dealing with his pain without vicoden other than the first few episodes when he first was cooking and then went back to work to be distracted from the pain.
