"Last Temptation" focuses on Masters, in what will be her last episode on House. I have not really been a fan of this character, but she did provide a much needed female character during Thirteen's absence. I liked this episode that focused primarily on her though, as House usually hits a homerun when they do these episodes from the viewpoint of one particular person.

It was not the most exciting episode ever, but it was well-written, had a good medical case, and some nice exchanges with House. I could have done without the chicken however.

Good episode though. House is starting to reclaim its thrown as Monday's best show.
  • A fitting ending to a character that is often overlooked by House fans.

For many House fans an episode centric on Masters might prove too much. But I find her character rather earnest and appealing because she is such a contrast to House, and to his egotistical, eccentric way of dealing with cases. I like this story because it pushes her character to the limits, and how she lies to save the patient's life. In the backdrop you have the rather amusing Hilson (House/Wilson) love affair involving chickens.

As a long-time companion she might have become a problem with writers on the show, because it becomes rather repetitive if you argue the whole ethics/morality in every issue they appear. But this episode rather nicely rounds off her story, and is one of the finest stories of the season.

this was a great episode despite the fact that it focused on Masters and her dilemma.

I really missed to see House and Wilson interact with each other the way they did this week. It was great, funny, very enjoyable to watch. House once more proved that one can be smart, or even considered a genius, but that doesn't mean that he&she is actually a genius. I know that this sentence doesn't make sense if you are just reading it. It makes sense if you watch this episode. House proved that Masters is a hypocrite and EVERYBODY LIES. A lie is a lie, even if you lie to yourself, and that is even worse than lying to someone else and this episode & ending is a proof of that. I do hope that the rest of this seasons episodes will be as enjoyable as this one.
  • All about Masters.

Episode tonight is all about making decisions - decisions that will change lives. For Masters, House kind of forced her to do something that is out of character - to lie to have her way. She manipulated the situation but at the end she didn't feel any better. In fact she felt worse. The decision of Masters to lie is a tough one. If she didn't lie, the patient dies but she gets to keep her honesty.. but it won't make her a great doctor. But in lying, though she saved the life, she felt bad. It didn't help at all. Such is life - one just has to make a decision and live with the consequences.
  • Should I Stay Or Should I Go?

This week's offering of House splendidly showed us the final days of student Masters to intern Masters and whether she had a place on House's team or not. Showing the days from her perspective, while the team treats a young girl who wants to break the record of youngest person to sail around the world, gave this part of the season a much needed adrenaline boost. Before 13's return it was all post break up this and post break up that with House. But in the vain of Season Six's "5 to 9" and "Wilson" the narrative story seen through her eyes gave her ultimate return the pack it needed. Also kudos to the writers for going back to prankster House and Wilson with their chickens. I will miss these childish antics since it's recently been announced that Robert Sean Leonard will be leaving the show after this season :(.
  • Been a long time since I saw a house episode so BORING

This was by far the worst episode of the seventh season.. Everything up until now had been a climactic climb and this was the disappointing fall. I rated it 7.5 because it was good.. But that is sort of my point, this show is not GOOD it's supposed to be EXCELLENT and it usually is. Masters isn't a character you hate (at least I personally don't) but she is far from essential. She is a like a mundane filler. She is expendable and thus nobody cares about her. After last week's masterpiece I was expecting a cutting follow-through. I was asking a lot, yes. But these expectations aren't normally unrealistic with House.

My vote: kick her to the curb. Besides, we've all seen the "Should I stay or should I go" bit before with the other doctors. It's kinda played out now. Last words, this anomale of an episode does not affect my overall position on the quality of this season. Still the best season I've seen since 3.

House delivers with another superb episode. We've had Cuddy's point of view, Wilson's, and now we have Master's point of view. Definitely did not expect her to be the next one especially out of all the other characters. I know some may not love this character, but I definitely appreciated her stay on House.

Her sendoff was perfect in every sense of the word. Her tripping over the chicken was unexpected and hilarious yet still emotional. "You Can't Always Get What You Want" - Classic House. The antics between House & Wilson were also very funny.

The corruption of Masters in the end was another unexpected occurrence, I just really wanted her to stay on the team, but I'm still satisfied with the way she said goodbye. The patient's case was intriguing and definitely entertaining. Great job House! Also is anyone else loving that the House & Cuddy thing has been kept to a minimum? I know I am.

I've never been a Masters fan so this is probably why I hated this episode. The only redeeming feature was the chicken bet with Wilson but unfortunately that was kept to a minimum.

I understand why there was this big send off for Masters and giving her all this internal conflict. The problem with this episode is, they kept hammering on about her being "exceptional" and the comparisons with House were obvious with her decision on the patient. Unfortunately what she did for the patient was totally wrong in my opinion and nothing like the situation it was compared to (House's leg). In that case, House's next of kin made the decision for him which she legally could do. In this episode, Masters had no right to make the decision and what she did was stupid - there is no way she could be allowed to continue practising medicine as it can't even be covered up. I understand why the writers did it but everything we've seen so far about her makes her the same as every other doctor on House's team, nothing "exceptional".

This episode was poor in my opinion for those reasons.
  • LAST WEEK was masterpiece compared to this..

I was hard regarding last week on second thought it was very good. Tonight's was just average except for the last 3 minutes where House once again proves he knows more than even a so called genius/prodigy, Masters. So she leaves.. her lying seemed out of place, she was so honest all along. I am not sure someone whose nature is morally against telling a lie, would lie. Hypocrite is she then. House is right again,EVERYBODY LIES. I hate Cuddy, Wilson has literally become House's mother , pardon the word, as appropriate tonight, hen. I wont miss Masters. Episode was boring somewhat and the patient's selfish and truly unemotional reaction to cancer and amputation , even for today's spoiled youth, seemed unrea.istic. Fair with a nice ending.
