Foreman returns to the hospital, and will make part of House's team. While House is trying to see who will be part of his team, a patient who mirrors the characteristics of doctors and other patients is brought to the hospital.

I want to say awesome episode! It was amazing. Funny and interesting. Foreman returns, the contestants keep on trying to impress House, a patient who mirror the attitudes of the people surrounding him. And ther end part, when House and Cuddy are in the same room with the patient and try to see who the patient will mirror was hilarous. Awesome House episode!moreless

    "Perfect"
I think this was a brilliant episode- it was such a clever idea to have a patient who mimics everyone around him- it was an ingenious way to know more about the candidates! Kutner seems to like new experiences, Taub seems to be into Amber or affairs from his wife, Brendan misses adventures, Amber feels the need to always be right, whilst 13 seems scared about something- assentuating her mysteriously withdrawn character.

I thought it was a good way to go with the characters and to let the audience care about them more. Meanwhile, Foreman returns to the team, much to House's initial displeasure. I was thrilled to see Foreman back, and for him to finally learn how happy he is to be there! He, like House said, was the only one to learn something from the patient. I loved how Cameron told him the same as well, as well as Chase winning all the bets by striking a deal with House- I would have loved to see more of him in the episode, however.

I think it was also interesting how Wilson has more power than House, whilst House has more power than Cuddy- it gave more depth to there relationship. I loved the scene at the end where House and Cuddy competed!

Overall, I thought this was a great episode, with great character development for a cast currently so large, whilst the mystery was also very interesting- a House classic.moreless
  • Foreman vs. House

    8.0
    "Great"
This episode caused a lot of tension, it was really mor House vs. Cuddy but the real tension was between Foreman & House. I like this episode because House tries everything for Cuddy to give in & fire Foreman. Which was absolutely hilarious! The Mayonaise panic of 2007. Switching laxatives with Vicodin, getting personal with Thirteen, and Amber continues to sabotage Thirteen's work. I like how no one got fired in this episode. Everyone waiting in the back for the results and no one got fired! I wosh this was the real team, seriously, they work so well together. A very good episode.moreless
  • Possibly the best House episode ever.

    9.9
    "Superb"
This episode is one of the best ever. The way each character is portrayed through the patient is brilliant, the war between House and Cuddy, Foreman beginning to be part of the group again are all great and what tops everything is when in the end House is acknowledged as "the boss" by the patient. The only downside is that Cameron has very little participation on this episode; something I hope will change in the episodes to come. If I had to chose my favorite episode this would be it. Funny, relaxing, classical house style, but at the same time refreshing and new.moreless

    • When House and Foreman are checking the patient board with the symptoms on it, nausea has been incorrectly spelled with an extra "u."

    • Trivia: When a ballot paper is handed out with the names of all the fellowship candidates, it reveals Thirteen's name to be Remy Hadley. The first onscreen reference to the character's full name.

    • The crew deal with the security dogs by feeding them drugged hamburger. Security dogs are generally trained to not eat strange food for exactly this reason.

    • Mr. X collapses and someone pages House and the fellowship applicants to deal with him. Not only do they take their time getting there, but when they do arrive nobody else on the staff is helping Mr. X... including, presumably, the person who called the alert in the first place.

    • Cuddy is seen here taking birth control pills. However, last time her pregnancy issues were mentioned she was trying to get pregnant.

  • QUOTES (23)

    ADD QUOTES
    • House: Hey! You actually do want to stay, don't you? Dr. Foreman: I think I do. House: Every one of those idiots got some insight about themselves from the pig salesman, not one of them did anything about it. People don't learn, they don't change, you did. You're a freak!

    • Amber: What's going on? Kutner: You're the favorite. Amber: House's? Kutner: To get fired.

    • House: Have you guys heard any of my metaphors yet? Well come on, sit on grandpa's lap as I tell you how infections are criminals; immune system's the police. Seriously, Grumpy, get up here, it'll make us both happy.

    • Dr. Cuddy: I just hired (Foreman). House: Well, I fired him. To infinity.

    • Brennan : You want us to stop his breathing? House: Well only until you can figure out why. After that it would be irresponsible.

    • Dr. Foreman: I'm not quitting. House: My god, not everything's about you and your little job and your little world. This is about restoring order in the universe. Dr. Foreman: I'm not quitting. House: You're going to be miserable. Dr. Foreman: I already am miserable.

    • House: Did you get a raise? 'Cause then you're a whore. Or didn't you? 'Cause then you're a stupid whore.

    • Dr. Foreman: The mayo is fine, you can stay where you are. I'm a doctor. House: (interjecting) Mail order! I've seen the diploma--two "N"s in 'university'.

    • Kutner: The cultures were my idea. House: No one's keeping score. You're losing.

    • Dr. Wilson: Well, you certainly did the right thing by coming to me. House: Yes, I needed a smug oncologist. Dr. Wilson: An authoritative oncologist. House: I hate you. Tell me why.

    • Dr. Cuddy: Your team, Foreman included, is dealing with the Great Mayonnaise Panic of 2007. Frankly, I'm worried it might spread to other continents.

    • House: Why are you doing a pelvic for food poisoning? Kutner: She said her hoo hoo burned.

    • House: Someone's gonna be miserable sometime. Accept it. That's how I stay so happy.

    • Thirteen: Getting arrested is not what I'm worried about. House: Not a problem. You know how to kill dogs, right?

    • Dr. Wilson: You're putting KY jelly on his phone receiver? An exploding snake in his drawer? Dr. Cuddy: No, I'm replacing his Vicodin stash with laxatives.

    • Dr. Wilson: (about House) Find some other way to soothe his ego. The thing's big enough. You must be able to find some corner to polish.

    • House: So now you've electrocuted yourself and set a patient on fire. I like the dedication. Kutner: Thank you. Taub: It wasn't a compliment. House: Yeah it was. The insult comes now: you're insane!

    • Dr. Wilson: So what if it's House? Dr. Foreman: Then I take the job at Mount Zion. Dr. Wilson: There is no job at Mount Zion. Dr. Foreman: House said… Dr. Wilson: Well, if House said it, it must be true.

    • Robert Elliott: (choosing the most dominant to mirror) Shut up. Dr. Cuddy: Well, that could have been either of us. Robert Elliott: You have great ya-bos. Dr. Cuddy: Still could have been either of us. House: You lose. Dr. Cuddy: Seriously! I have always thought my breasts were one of my best features.

    • House: (about the patient) Keep him in the isolation room so he doesn't pick up extreme bitch syndrome from one of the nurses.

    • Dr. Foreman: You know what's worse than a sanctimonious speech? A sanctimonious speech that's dead wrong.

    • Dr. Cuddy: (about Dr. Foreman) You do nothing without his knowledge. House: Oh, uh, just in case I need them, where exactly will Dr. Foreman be keeping my balls?

    • House: War doesn't end until Foreman's gone. Dr. Cuddy: Foreman's not going anywhere. House: And I know when my Vicodin isn't Vicodin. Do you know when your birth control pills aren't birth control pills?
