    Season 4

    Episode 5: Mirror, Mirror

Foreman returns to the hospital, and will make part of House's team. While House is trying to see who will be part of his team, a patient who mirrors the characteristics of doctors and other patients is brought to the hospital.

I want to say awesome episode! It was amazing. Funny and interesting. Foreman returns, the contestants keep on trying to impress House, a patient who mirror the attitudes of the people surrounding him. And ther end part, when House and Cuddy are in the same room with the patient and try to see who the patient will mirror was hilarous. Awesome House episode!

I think this was a brilliant episode- it was such a clever idea to have a patient who mimics everyone around him- it was an ingenious way to know more about the candidates! Kutner seems to like new experiences, Taub seems to be into Amber or affairs from his wife, Brendan misses adventures, Amber feels the need to always be right, whilst 13 seems scared about something- assentuating her mysteriously withdrawn character.

I thought it was a good way to go with the characters and to let the audience care about them more. Meanwhile, Foreman returns to the team, much to House's initial displeasure. I was thrilled to see Foreman back, and for him to finally learn how happy he is to be there! He, like House said, was the only one to learn something from the patient. I loved how Cameron told him the same as well, as well as Chase winning all the bets by striking a deal with House- I would have loved to see more of him in the episode, however.

I think it was also interesting how Wilson has more power than House, whilst House has more power than Cuddy- it gave more depth to there relationship. I loved the scene at the end where House and Cuddy competed!

Overall, I thought this was a great episode, with great character development for a cast currently so large, whilst the mystery was also very interesting- a House classic.
  • Foreman vs. House

This episode caused a lot of tension, it was really mor House vs. Cuddy but the real tension was between Foreman & House. I like this episode because House tries everything for Cuddy to give in & fire Foreman. Which was absolutely hilarious! The Mayonaise panic of 2007. Switching laxatives with Vicodin, getting personal with Thirteen, and Amber continues to sabotage Thirteen's work. I like how no one got fired in this episode. Everyone waiting in the back for the results and no one got fired! I wosh this was the real team, seriously, they work so well together. A very good episode.
  • Possibly the best House episode ever.

    9.9
    "Superb"
This episode is one of the best ever. The way each character is portrayed through the patient is brilliant, the war between House and Cuddy, Foreman beginning to be part of the group again are all great and what tops everything is when in the end House is acknowledged as "the boss" by the patient. The only downside is that Cameron has very little participation on this episode; something I hope will change in the episodes to come. If I had to chose my favorite episode this would be it. Funny, relaxing, classical house style, but at the same time refreshing and new.
  • The Great Mayonnaise panic

This episode had some very enjoyable moments! I loved that their patient was mimicking their emotions, it made things very interesting!

Cuddy and House were insanely funny! I loved the Great mayonnaise panic of 2007! And Cuddy was funny saying "Frankly, I'm worried it might spread to other condiments." LOL that was just too funny and I loved that she was trying to replace House's vicodin stash with laxatives and Wilson walked in while she was doing it!

House and Chase working together on the bet on who House was going to fire was great!!! It was great that he didn't fired anyone, that just means the game goes on much longer! I loved that Amber was the choice to get fired, she's even better when she thinks she's going to lose the game!

Loved the Cuddy and House banter as usual and the fight for Forman to get fired was amusing! Absolutely loved this episode of House!!!
  • Mirror, Mirror is great episode, great character development, "cool" symptons and funny.

    9.5
    "Superb"
The most important and the part I enjoyed the most was the character development. I think the writers did a great job, telling the viewers to think what they really want people to think. They did this by the Mirror "Giovanni" Syndrome (clap, clap who just realized the significance of the title). This Mirror Sydndrome copied the person (in the room) who appears to have the most power. This was mainly due to his minor amnesia causing his brain to be "sponge" like. So if one person was in a room he would copy their personality to sometimes reveal characteristics that themselves didn't know.

This revealed major character characteristics that may have been unseen to the viewers. These included (remember these are the impersonations but are more as truer due to the Mirror Syndrome hint on the mirror) Amber Volakis – "im always right, I gotta be." "If they don't like you, you gotta be right, if you're not, you not worth anything."

This in my opinion meant she would sacrifice having no friends than being always right.

Dr. Chris Taub: "who was that last doc I want her?" "…so am I" (agreeing to be married)"…even if she wasn't I still think she is still abit.. aggressive"

    *high five*

This obviously implies that he has the hots for Amber.

Travis Brennan (a.k.a. Grumpy): "Im in a hospital I don't want to be in a hospital" "Im bored" "everything is okay if you don't think about" This was definitely a surprise to me as hates this job, too "boring" wants to be where its more exciting where he used to be…Middle East.

Dr. Lawrence Kutner: "Bring the pain" "I don't just like new I gotta have new, if its not there I got make it there"

"If im doing what exactly everybody else is then who the hell am I" In my opinion i think he realized that he likes to be different and adventurous / likes taking risks, which i think the reason he got his job.

Doctor Foreman: "Nothing around here works the ways its supposed to work"

"You're happy?" This was also a surpize to me as Foreman realized that he actually like working with house.

House: "Oh God you are incredibly hot" (to 13). "Are you an idiot don't you think shes hot"

    "This is so frustrating"

13: I'm scared Personally i didn't fully understand this quote but could refer to the fact she killed a dog and she is now regretful

Finally when House dresses up at his patients he finally reveals his true identity and thus his true self. Then to see who has dominance (remember only copies who is in power) House and Cuddy battle it off and House wins (pretty obvious), but he still does a good dance for a cripple. Quote House: You loose *Houses dances*. Best part. The episode also mentions a corny theme (I didn't really mind it), but still played an important character build up. Despite the Pig salesman pointing out their flaws everyone learned, yet no one changed except for Foreman (not exactly sure how though. This leaves an underling message of if the viewer knew their own flaws would they change or learn. Overal awesome episode, I gave it 9.5 out 10. watch it! Great theme, good character development and good ending yay no one is gone!. Well for now neways.
  • Genius use of illness to explore characters

    9.5
    "Superb"
Let me just say that this is one of the best episodes of a medical drama Ive ever seen! I absolutely loved the clever use of Mirror syndrome to see into the hearts of each of the characters of this show. It may have been done before, but not by this clever method.

The essential patient story is just used to show expand on the character traits of House and the recruits. The last scene with the patient will have a show down between Cuddy and House - a very pleasing moment showing up Cuddy but in a way which strengthens her character! Im beginning to like her as much as House!

Dialogue is about the norm but full of its usual quality. Lots of interesting anitdotes about the characters do mask a surprise lack of originality in the diagnostic element of the show, but that isnt why Im tuning in anymore - its about character relationships.

If you love the way House manipulates the situation and how Foreman and Cuddy now fight back, then youll love this episode and how the show has relegated the subservient aspect of the relationships to the recruits.

I still dont know if the newbies will be taken on but I hope a few of them are. I suspect the way things are going that maybe 1 or 2 will be kept. As long as they are fully explored in this series I wont mind!

Another rollercoaster ride in the House of Pain-ful existence - at least for the recruits. Lets have more and definitely more of blonde haired Cameron! She's lovely and natural opposition to the cynical House!

One episode not to be missed.
  • I LOVE this series, and this was one of my favorite episodes.

I'm sad not to see the old team more, but the new ones are growing on me. Seems the old team feels a lot more confident now that they aren't attached to House anymore.

The show and the writers show no signs of growing tired; Just the contrary. As the show moves forward, the wit increases and I grow more and more attached to the characters (though I really miss Chase and Cameron (who is showing infinite self confidence now that she's not on House's team).

The mirror disease was a brilliant way to show even more about the new characters (with special props going to Cuddy and House at the end - priceless!!!)
  • another great house episode...

    "Superb"
This episode was by far extremely funny...as the pateint had the honour of copying each characters true identity, making us more aware of the true thoughts and believes of the characters! House kept his unending ways of redicule and sharp replys to every one and anyone making him yet again able to conjure a smile on any persons face and produce that never ending laughter! i think the most interesting and funny moment was when the pateint was to mirror the true alpha dog between Cuddy and House. The moment of truth kept us all on the endge of our seats but what was even more hillarious was House's reaction to the surprising answer...watch it and reply!
  • House and his team of newbies treat a man who mirrors their personalities, Foreman returns, and Chase takes bets on who will bee the next off "the island"

I though episode was fine, no there was not the in-depth character studies, and the medicine didn't pack the same punch. Which I can see upsetting others but that a side, why I enjoyed it so much is that because the House-isms are back, which were sorely missing from the the previous episode. This was a fun episode, The interactions between both Wilson and Cuddy where perfect, I have to admit I think the new team, although needed to shake things up, does distract from learning more about the characters we love. But anyway the White Stripes song at the end, I loved it, it was the best part.
  • This is getting a little tedious. House's search for a team was never going to fill a full season and its already being padded out.

    5.0
    "Mediocre"
The cast is the same, the story outline is the same, the jokes are similar but now these things that kept us on the edge of our seats are starting to make us cringe. House used to be a clever bloke who saved lives. His slight tendency to eccentricity made him cute and cuddly and likable even. As we learn more about the hospital and his friends and colleagues we see him more as a loose cannon who is bordering on the insane. Lets write him a better life again and get him back to the hero of the piece. As for the plot of the episode, some guy got ill and was cured and the stupidity amongst the staff continued - yawn, yawn yawn.

This episode slips its way into one of my favorite House episodes of all time. I love the Foreman versus House storyline that this season tends to be going to. However, while I think the two of them are going to fight a lot this year, I think House is going to change and Foreman and himself are going to get closer. At the end of the episode House was talking about change and how Foreman has, I think House is also going to be changing and Foreman and House are going to have a strong and dominant relationship this season. This could be 100% wrong in every single way, but I still think that Foreman and House are going to get closer.

I loved the case in this one too, with the man who can mimic anyone he wants. It let us know a lot about all of the characters, including the one who we don't know anything about. Cuddy versus House scenes were the tops in the episode as I think its that connection that keeps bringing me back to the show week in and week out. The scene at the ned with the two of them in the room with the mimic man was my favorite comedy scene this year. The writers couldnt have written it any better then the way they did.
  • I'm a big fan of House, but this season is getting too boring!

    5.0
    "Mediocre"
House had always that clownish personality throwing jokes all around, but what make him such a great character were those dramatic challenges like his obsession for his ex-wife, his addiction for Vicodin, his struggle against the chronic pain and his life's misery. Those were what supported this fantastic character. What we have seen in this season is just the eccentric clown fooling around with a bunch of doctors following the repetitive recipe of one episode – one case solved... Even their are getting sluggish when it cames to medical procedure - it's all rubbish! For some one who known a little medicine it's painful to watch! Pump up the creativity! Let's see some real drama!!!
  • The return of Foreman brings about an interesting twist in this quirky (but very entertaining) episode.

    "Superb"
I'll be honest - I was hoping that Foreman would not return to the hospital. Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy the character (and his interaction with House), but I was worried that the show was opening up an old chapter that already had a proper ending.

Thankfully, Foreman's return seems at least somewhat natural. And even though his newfound love for his "new" job seemed a bit - for lack of a better term - unbelievable, the return of Foreman comes with at least some change and development in his character.

Foreman aside, this episode is one of the funniest I have watched in some time. The patient of the week - a man who mimics those around him - provided several hilarious moments throughout the episode (I could not stop laughing during the scene in the surgery room with House, Wilson and the patient). And though there are times that the interactions between the new team and the patient seem a little strange (13's "fear" conversation was a little on the weak side), the episode was throughly entertaining.

My only serious concern about this episode goes back to Foreman - where does his character go from here? While a happy Foreman may have been acceptable for this episode, I don't know if I can stomach it for too long. We'll leave that for next week's episode...
  • This episode was hilarious, though I wish they would have gone on with the elimination already.

Well so far, this is my favorite House episode this season, simply because it was hilarious and the patient was really interesting and I'm also starting to feel the chemistry between the newbies and House. I'm also glad they managed to introduce the newbies to us more in the form of the medical case, it was really creative if you ask me.

The title of the episode is very much appropriate to this episode because we have a case where a patient acts like who he thinks is in authority in the room. Through this, we learn a lot more from House's team and we also learn who is in authority, House or Cuddy.

The Foreman is back and he isn't getting a very pleasant welcome. He confronts Cameron and they end up having a very little argument, not a fight, just a friendly debate. Chase on the other hand, finds a new way to earn a little extra salary.

Episode Quote (courtesy of House): Have you guys heard any of my metaphors yet? Well come on, sit on grandpa's lap as I tell you how infections are criminals; immune system's the police. Seriously, Grumpy, get up here, it'll make us both happy.

A typically good House episode although I didn't care for the case itself. More fun with the potential new hires and Foreman makes his return hat in hand. The efforts of House to embarrass and run Foreman off were hilarious. The case of the mimic patient wasn't that great for me. He's a great actor but he didn't do much with this role. Once again no one was fired hopefully cause we like all the characters but for the story House's way to mess up the better odds on who will go. The main draw for me was watching House and Foreman comeback together and House's realization that Foreman is back because he likes dealing with House despite earlier protest.

This episode was the funniest one to date. We learn more about the potential fellowship candidats via a patient who has mirror syndrome. What we learn about each of them is surprising. Foreman is put in charge of the fellowship candidates and finds out quickly that he just can't get any respect from anyone, not even House. House engages in some hilarious oneupmanship stunts with Cuddy in an attempt to get Foreman fired. Finally, we learn just who is in charge of their relationship. I liked the ending when Foreamn realiazes that he is happy being back at the hospital and House tells Foreman he's glad he's back.

Lets face it I am gonna watch House no matter what BUT not everybody is as addicted and I like enjoying the show... however watching foreman trying to act like house ... copying his jokes is not funny it is frustrating! and watching house say nothing to that is worse c'mon please kick that of no use copy cat out of the show let him accept that job at wherever I don't care!!

I'm not sure how realistic this episode was. I'm sure the few cases with the "mirror disorder" had some similar symptoms like the patient of this episode, but not exactly as exaggerated. This guy was more like a superhero. Actually, it was a little bit like a Heroes episode lol. But regardless the exaggerating "symptoms", I really enjoyed it!!! It was fun, witty and exciting!!! Plus they "smoothed" Foreman back into the series without too much drama. And, we also see that the team might not be "together" yet ... still, they "work" together in one way or another! ;) ... Even if it is just ... gambling ;)

Are you guys kidding me??!! This was one of the best episodes i've ever seen if not THE best. i second that review about exploring the noobs' characters and most importantly now - finally - Foreman knows what he wants and House has made his peace with it!!! I just can't wait till the rest of the old gang are all back together. however, sure gonna miss "number 13", "the black Mormon", and "the **** (can't remember what House calls her) mmm this thing about the review having to be at least 100 words is really bothering me. even now i still needed 2 more!!!
  • Actually,I would prefer classify this ep. as "confusing",because ,usually my thinking and filling processes are correlated, but they weren't in this case, or "Disturbing",because "House feels more and more like medical soap

    7.0
    "Good"
But those classifications weren't on the list,so I went with "Informative",because to give the audience as much information on the new(and old) characters by "mirroring" them in a patient was the only reason to chose that very questionable "medical mystery". My thinking perception was appalled.Nothing in this episode made any sense.First of all, the medical case, in which the patients main symptom was mimicking the most dominant person in the room.Sure,I can understand "he has no memory of his own",but the disease that made a guy psychic, who can instantly "revile" people's most hidden thoughts seemed very questionable.Cuddy's actions were ineffective, silly and juvenile...Well, after two days of reading other people thoughts and 2 re-watching ,I'm guessing, that possibly she and House have been having sex, without us knowing -that could explain why she's so desperate to show him "who's the boss" and why he's taking the game instead of just going home the moment she brought Foreman to supervise him and his " reality TV" team. But that is just my sorry try to explain inexplicable. Nothing can explain why the patient who crashed in the hospital's hall had to wait on the floor while House's team came to treat him. There are no nurses in PPTH anymore? Or every single staff member was in the lobby betting on whom House will fire next?I guess so..

No, I'm glad House and Chase "kissed, made up" and created a OTB parlor of their own.Did Cuddy placed a bet too, I wonder?... The scene when House brought the undiagnosed and probably contagious patient tho the OR,just to satisfy his curiosity ,to clear up who's the "dominatrix" in his friendship with Wilson , didn't make any sense either. And even less the fact that the patient was wearing rubber gloves...or where was a chance he would assist Wilson?... And the same goes to the scene when House made Foreman switch with 13 in the middle of the heart biopsy (!) just because he (and ,even more we) had (at last!) to find out her hidden thoughts.I realize that it's just a TV show, but when all the actions of all the characters doesn't make any sense medically and have a single purpose to create a "tangled interpersonal situations", procedural medical show are becoming a medical soap by definition.Which is a shame. And ,of coarse the most unbelievable thing in this ep was an almost instant Foreman's transformation. He came to the to the ep with the same ugly smug smile we've seen on his face for a very long time and a strong hatred to House and PPTH ,but after two short scenes, one with the psychic-by-disease patient and one with suddenly became psycho-annalist/ER doctor Cameron he reevaluated his believes and ended ep loving House and this job. That was a pathetic move of the DS and K and it made me feel manipulated, and not in a good way But that those my thinking side..my feeling side on the other hand was pleased to see all those silly "funny scenes" with House happily dancing (I suspect he secretly did grow his own CIPA "nerve garden" and should be completely pain free any day now)after the patient with a temperature of 107F had to confirm who's more powerful House or Cuddy to be treated...Why would I feel that way? The only explanation I have is because House looked genuinely House-happy and satisfied in this ep against all the reasons not to be.Either that or somebody has been dosing my coffee with antidepressants.
  • While the pacient has mirror syndrome, we find out about the emotions of the new ducklings and we get to find out who's in charge of the huddy relationtip n_n . it's one of the funniest espisodes ever!!!

    10
    "Perfect"
Mirror syndrome, one of the most intreaguing conditions ever. The pacient presents the ability to read people and act like them, expressing their emotions, cuz he can't remember his own. With this, we find out that Brennan is bored, that Kutner needs something new every day, Taub is hot for cut-throat-b. Amber is the way she is, just because she knows no one likes her.. and "shockingly", 13 is terrified of working. Foreman is happy working with House, who would know? (duh!)

On the other hand, this amazing medical condition is characterized by the ability of the patient to mimic only the person that's in charge of the relationship, what gives us that House is in charge of Cuddy... and that's probably the funniest scene ever.. when House starts "shooting" with his cane after he realizes he won.. it's just hilarious!!! This is probably the best episode so far this season, and it's kind of hinting to Huddy, which I absolutely loooove!
  • Somehow weird episode, out of all the things we used to love in House.

    6.8

I do not know. Last episode of House really made me so angry. (because he fired Henry who was in my opinion the best of those new recruits) This one upset me a little as he did not fired anyone (maybe I am thinking for revenge?) But I am wondering.. what happened with cases? Ok, we have had some really interesting cases this season, like the man with a dog or those two mixed victims in collapse, but this case. It was interesting for mirroring but those procedures? The action we have used to see? What have happened. I am like watching House but I did not get the feeling after this episode like I have done it. There was some of the humor we have used to see but it was childish. Cuddy was not like she - she was acting like jealous teenager. Foreman was like.. a man who cannot make up his mind and who does not care about others. The patience life was risked just that they could make their stupid came who has more authority. What it gave us? Not very amused by this episode. There have been much better ones.
  • Loved it! Funny and really interesting!

OMG, where do I begin? This whole episode was really good. For example, Dr. Foreman is back! I really hope that the old team gets back together soon. Anywho, I loved House's line: Just in case, where will Dr. Foreman be keeping my balls? HAHA! That made me laugh. The case they had with the guy was interesting. Never knew that could happen. And I love the part with Chase placing bets on who would get fired first! My money was down on Amber, sorry Amber fans. And in the end, they manage to solve the case, and House had to make a choice, which one of the newbie's should he fired? I was really hoping he would say all of them but I guess we'll see where this goes. But I think House should hire his old team. Was it just me or did we not see Wilson at all? I mean yes, he was in the episode but not alot, not like usual. And then the ending with Foreman and House...it was good to see them share a laugh together.
  • One of the worst episodes ever. Major disappointment. I wasn't and still am not sure I was watching House...

    5.5
    "Mediocre"
Now what was that all about?! And who robbed me out of my favorite, intelligent and greatly written show? That same guy who wrote the amazing DNR, All In, Informed Consent??? What exactly is going on here?

The medical story was boring, no one was actually working on it seriously - Foreman says the patient (with a temp of 117 degrees!) can "wait 15 minutes" so that he'll decide weather House or Cuddy rule and he'll be able to make up his mind if he wants the job or not? Is this a medical drama anymore or what?

Cuddy, who, when asked by House on Pilot "would you grab my cane now, stop me from leaving?", answered "now that would be juvenile" - is now replacing House's Vicodin for laxatives... "so that he will not act like a 14 years old"??? The Dean of Medicine has made the final transfer into a complete idiot.

House is not a lot better this time around. Instead of just going home and leave Cuddy to deal with the mess she made by brining Foreman back the way she did, he's making a mess of his own. The Cafeteria scene was not funny but just sad. Glad to see he's almost cured now - can walk without his cane and even dance... It's a miracle! Who cares if it makes sense or not... What's next? House the musical?!

Bringing Foreman back as Cuddy's "eyes and ears" and putting him in charge over House??? And him again with claiming the patient fakes it all and House is a "stubborn jerk"... and oh, he was so "corrupted" by working with House... right - again it has nothing to do with him. Yet he insist on being in charge because of ... what really? What a pompous a$$. But Hallelujah, he now wants to stay! Thank you, Foreman, how nice of you! Yay, now I really don't have to tune in next week to see what you're up to. I'll just watch it if and when I'll have the time. Or maybe after I'll read the recaps and see if things have changed or not. I don't think I can take one more week of this. Better watch some old eps instead.

I don't even have the energy to talk about the new team - too many of them to really care or understand what they're all about. And this 13 person is really becoming the most annoying person after Cameron. How old is she anyway? 13? How can anyone think she can pass for an experienced doctor is beyond me. But that's the least of the things that are beyond me in this ep.

The farce has gone too far - it's time to get back to House - remember that one? The show with the interesting medical cases and patients, the multi-dimensional and deep characters, the clinic patients... that one... because if this ep represents what's next on this season, then I'd say House's Moby Dick is waiting for the Jump...

This episode is really hard to rate. It had some really good points, but some pretty bad ones, too. I'll start with the good points: The medical mystery was pretty good. Diagnosing a patient with no memories led House to solve it in his typically rational yet imaginative fashion. The House/Cuddy play was funny. I laughed at the end when House was the one mirrored. It was funny when Cuddy replaced House's vicodin with laxatives and funnier when House figured it out and told Cuddy he replaced her birth control pills. When House didn't fire anybody just so he could get a cut of Chase's proceeds, that was pretty House.

Now for the bad points: The medical mystery had one symptom (the blood). That's not very cool. They also used the mirror syndrome to extensively to peek into the people's characters. It was funny to an extent (like when he mirrored Wilson), but for the most part it was annoying. House did not pop one vicodin on camera, and in fact appeared quite happy. It made his speeches about choosing the least miserable path etc. ring quite hollow. That's not House. The Foreman thing is, as I suspected, annoying. It's just so contrived.

All in all, it was a pretty entertaining episode, but it wasn't entertaining in the Housian fashion I have come to appreciate.
  • A patient presents with Mirror Syndrome-he takes on the role of whomever is present. Foreman rejoins the fold and takes the lead with the fellowship candidates. House and Cuddy banter over this development, and a good time is had by all!

Not the greatest episode, but well done just the same.

The mystery illness/Patient of the week (POTW) was a rather interesting case. It was interesting to watch the fellowships stumble over themselves and watching their loyalties torn between Foreman and House. Their addition has been interesting and a good part of this season. Each of the fellowship candidates are unique, yet similar in that they are willing to do almost anything for the job. The whole wager on who would get fired and how House rigged it was genius, loved it!

People can get pretty hard on Foreman, but I like his character and Omar Epps does a wonderful job. This was illustrated in this episode, for he gave a stellar performance and the interactions between Foreman and House were excellent. It is a wonderful development to have Foreman in the position that he is in. It throws fuel on the fire between him and House, and deepens his character dynamic. It also adds another wonderful plot element to the show, and will prove to be instrumental in his relationship with House.

The only drawback to this episode was that it was a bit too formulaic. Yes, some plot advancements happened, but the POTW angle was a little too unrealistic, and not played all that well. It was the interactions between the regular players that made this episode good. Cuddy really should know by now not to try to "outprank" House, their interactions are my favorite, I'd love to see them hook up.

All in all, good episode. Phenomenal acting by the cast, alright acting by the POTW. Decent developments, excellent pacing, good direction.
  • POTW mirrors the personality of whomever he perceives to be in charge... while House continues to play survivor with the remaining fellows

I liked this episode a lot. House is great screwing with Cuddy, it never fails to make me laugh. I also really enjoyed watching Chase take bets on who would get fired next. I really like Chase having some more backbone. I also think Chase and Cameron are getting underused this season. I love them and want to see more of them together, I feel like they are shooting their scenes apart because they broke off their engagement in real life and thats not fair to the viewer... meaning me. I love Kal Penn in general, but I don't love him as this character. I like him as sarcastic and funny, not thrill seeking. Oh well. House making a deal with Chase to not fire anyone and keep all the money was great, on the funny end.
  • Loved it!

I was slightly worried about this episode when I saw its promos last week but now I must say I was pleasantly surprised with the outcome. The case was something unusual and the writers did a good job by revealing some information about the newbies through the PTOW.

The House/ Cuddy power play was also fun to watch and I guess from now on we'll be getting a lot of House/Other character centered episodes. It was Cameron's turn last week, Wilson's in the season premiere. Who could be next? Probably Chase as House will finally have to deal with him.

As for the Reality TV, the more I watch those newbies, the more I want all of them to leave. I miss the dynamics House and his former ducklings had.
