Wilson is in the opening differential, but there's no reason for him to be there. He rarely sits on differentials, and only when cancer might be involved, or under other extraordinary circumstances. Here he doesn't even stay long enough to discuss the case.
Dr. Wilson: (after House says he's seeing Cuddy) I'm gonna check my office for whoopie cushions.
House: It's not a prank.
Dr. Wilson: And this is not me walking out of the door.
House: I'm seeing Cuddy! Generally without her clothes on.
House: So... Junior Miss Everything. Skateboarder, basketballer, science clubber, seal clubber... I'm actually guessing with that last one.
Taub: And what's with the death's head cane?
House: They didn't have a death's ass cane in my size.
Dr. Cuddy: It's time for our meeting in Human Resources.
House: Hmmm. Human Resources. Now why would I need to go to Human Resources?
Dr. Wilson: House, you've been to Human Resources 74 times in the last six weeks.
House: Never after doing this. (tries to kiss Cuddy, she stops him)
Dr. Wilson: Well, I'm convinced.
House: Come on. One peck. Just enough to arouse him just a little.
Dr. Wilson: I--hey, I'm not even...
House: I didn't mean you.
Dr. Wilson: I've been more passionate with my great aunt.
House: Mabel? Up high.
Taub: House, I was expecting your relationship with Cuddy to complicate our work long-term. I am now concerned it might be affecting us short-term. All due respect.
House: None taken.
(Wilson smirks after learning House and Cuddy had sex)
House: Yeah, I had that same facial expression for the first 48 hours. I had another one, too, but only for 15 seconds at a time.
Dr. Wilson: House, everything's changed. You're sleeping together. You want something from her besides a sign-off on scaring a patient to death.
House: You talked to Taub.
Dr. Wilson: He's worried about you.
House: He's a jerk.
Dr. Wilson: I'm worried too.
House: Do I need to say it?
House: Yeah. I have to avoid this problem. If I can restrict our interactions to places where neither of us are wearing pants.
Dr. Wilson: Yeah, that's not avoiding the problem, it's avoiding the issue.
House: Since avoidance is my plan for dealing with the issue, technically, that's not avoiding it. Thanks.
Dr. Wilson: No problem.
Taub: You want me to get Cuddy's approval?
House: I've got be somewhere important.
Taub: Sitting at your desk?
House: I'm running late.
Dr. Cuddy: I sit around on my bureaucratic ass??!
Taub: I was relaying your words.
House: I said well-formed. I said well-formed!

House: You ever see Wild Kingdom?
Referencing Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom, hosted by zoologist Marlin Perkins. Perkins narrated while his assistant, Jim Fowler, would take on a variety of wild animals. The show premiered in 1963 on NBC, ran for eight years, and went into syndication with new episodes produced sporadically. Mutual of Omaha sponsored a new version of the show in 2002 on Animal Planet, this time narrated by Alec Baldwin.
