  • Quotes

    • House: Guy loves an imaginary being that is never going to respond to him. He's no crazier than millions of church-goers.

    • House: Thank you.. Butterscotch. Is that a family name?
Dr. Adams: How long are you going to be using this office for sex games? Just so I can plan my day.
House: Sex and work. I'm not a savage.

    • Dr. Park: Have you ever paid for sex?
Dr. Taub: Every guy who's ever seen a Merchant Ivory movie has paid for sex.

    • Dr. Wilson: You are a horrible person.
House: All I need is to break up one marriage. You've broken up three of your own. You're like the Stephen Hawking of killing relationships. Actually, no, Stephen Hawking is the Stephen Hawking of...
Dr. Wilson: Okay. I have work to do.

    • House: Start the patient on steroids and find out how he pimped his ride.
      Dr. Taub: Why?
House: Because I don't know the answer.

    • Dr. Wilson: Hey, foosball?
      House: Can't. Marriage to destroy.
      Dr. Wilson: Okay...
House: "Okay" as in passive-aggressive reverse psychology? Or as in depressed resignation?

    • Dominika: Men want to have sex.
House: Not with crazy people. Well, yes, a lot with crazy people. But not that kind of crazy. Well, yeah, that kind of crazy...
Dominika: They don't care how crazy if she look like me.

  • Allusions

    • House: Thirty-five-year old male, he cries blood, and he's not Vampire Bill.

Referencing the TV series True Blood, based on Charlaine Harris' The Southern Vampire Mysteries. Bill Compton is the vampire romantically involved with Sookie. He is closer to human than many of the vampires and weeps tears of blood on occasion.

    • Dr. Taub: Every guy who's ever seen a Merchant Ivory movie has paid for sex.

Referencing the movie production company founded in 1961 which produced many British period piece films in the 1980s and 1990s with characters suffering through tragic relationships. Such movies as Howards End and The Remains of the Day are arguably chick flicks which men go to only to be with their women, hence Taub's comment.
