Barney's car is Mercedes CL-Class chassis W-216.
Towards the end of the episode where Ted and Stella are in her car talking about 'The One', it can be seen that the first scene where Stella says, "He's the one", the door lock is down indicating the door is locked. After Ted has spoken and the camera pans back to Stella, the door lock can be seen as up, indicating the door to be unlocked.
The website www.weddingbridemovie.com on the bottom of the poster for Tony's movie, The Wedding Bride, is a real website and contains the movie poster shown during the episode.
Barney seems to have gotten over his fear of driving from "Arrivederci Fiero" and his lack of interest in cars from "The Chain of Screaming". He's suddenly driving as if he has been all his life.
We learn Ted's ringtone is Robin's "Let's Go to the Mall".
Tony: I think fate put me on that corner to make things right with you. Obviously I can't fill that giant crater Stella left in your heart.
Ted: I've been dating—a lot.
Tony: And then I heard you got fired.
Ted: I've transitioned into small-business ownership. It's the backbone of the economy.
Tony: No, it's not.
Barney: Hey, Ted, how's that super hot French girl you've been dating with the really big boobs?
Ted: Oh, Claudette. She's good.
Barney: She's the hottest woman you have ever been with, Ted. Ever. Bye, Stella.
Stella: You know I once talked my way out of a speeding ticket?
Stella: I was heading upstate with my parents, I was doing 90 on the country roads. I got pulled over. So this cop, gets out of his car, swaggers over and he says, 'Lady, I've been waiting for you all day.' And I said, 'Sorry Officer, I got here as fast as I could.'
Ted: For real?
Stella: No, it's just a joke. I know that you're tired of waiting. And you may have to wait a little while more but, she's on her way, Ted. And she's getting here as fast as she can.
Marshall: Tony's rich? He's rich? Please tell me he wrote you a big, fat check. A check so fat, it doesn't take its shirt off when it goes swimming.
Barney: That is a big, fat check. A check so fat, after you have sex with it, you don't tell your buddies about it.
Robin: A check so fat, when it sits next to you on an airplane, you ask yourself if the check should have bought two seats.
Marshall: That is...
Barney: A big, fat check!
Ted: Yeah, he didn't write me a check.
Ted:Okay, I'm going to say something out loud that I've been doing a pretty good job of not saying out loud lately. What you and Tony have, what I thought for a second you and I had, what I know that Marshall and Lily have—I want that. I do. I keep waiting for it to happen and waiting for it to happen and I guess I'm just, I'm tired of waiting. And that is all I'm going to say on that subject.
Marshall: That's a line from a porno. I've seen that porno. Hell, I've made that porno.
Barney: When will you guys realize that the only difference between my real life and a porno is my life has better lighting?
Stella: Tony broke up with me.
Ted: Wow... okay. Tony broke up with you?
Stella: He said it was because of something you said.
Robin: You got Tony to dump Stella?!? I am very sorry, but I'm going to have to insist that you (holds out her fist) bump this.
Barney: You, sir, got Stella thinking: "Gosh, Ted seemed so cool today. Did I choose the wrong guy?" Give it a week, you'll get her back. And her front, oh! Did you feel that? I think we just had a 'what-up?'-quake.
