  • Hidden game!

    9.0
This was by far one of the better episodes of season 6. Not focused on Zoey/Ted but on important moments to the gang, at least Lily and Marshall. Loved the doppelganger part. There is a hidden game in this episode. Random count down of numbers on items throughout the episode. I don't understand why people are giving this episode a low rating because of the sad moment. Good acting does not have to be funny all the time, not even in a comedy. Yes Colbie (Robin) is getting older that's no reason to replace her. Even barney would not be that shallow!moreless
  • Damn...

Up until the final few moments, this was a very good episode of HIMYM. I was constantly on edge, waiting for the axe to fall on Lily and Marshall's chances at parenthood. The Barney lookalike bit added brilliantly to the whole thing and made the moment when he tells Marshall he can't have kids quickly turn from heart-breaking to hilarious and then, just when you think you're out of the woods, BAM. The show throws an absolute curve-ball. The final few moments turn this otherwise great episode into an absolute heart-wrencher, and I dare anyone not to cry as they realise the truth behind why this episode is called Bad News... I did not notice the countdown, time for a rewatch :Pmoreless

Hi all, I watch every eps of himym , and i think the first two Season were great. it is as simple as that, i watch "how i met your mother" because it is funny and it always end with people happy. but when you guys kill someone who we saw and new.. It is not funny!. we saw Friends and few people died in that series but it was like Ross aunt we never saw her or new her. it was funny that monica did not get what she's wanted. but what is funny about next episode. are you guys would like to say that it is funny to kill someonemoreless

"Bad News" is a fantastic How I Met Your Mother episode. I didn't even notice the countdown the first time watching and so the episode was even more amazing when I watched it for the countdown. The ending of the episode was so sad with finding out that Marshall's dad had a heart attack and died. I love Barney's doppelganger. I love how Sandy Rivers works at Robin's new workplace. I love how Sandy had found embarrassing videos of Robin including the Robin Sparkle videos. I give this episode a 10/10.moreless
  • please do not encourage them....

ok i'm a busy man, specially now a days but i can not just let this episode pass without saying something. we are entitled for our own opinion, like most of the review here they gave it a high rating... remember guys that this is a comedy show not a drama or a feel good family oriented show.. do not encourage the writers of this show to create more teary episodes or this show will be known for drama not comedy. i like this show too much not to comment whats happening. i watched this since season one, and it was known for barney's jokes and antics. for ted's awkwardness in terms in dating women. and robins being sexy but now she's getting older i think they should replace her. about marshall and lily, they must create their own show with family drama and their corny jokes, so that i can not watch them...moreless

    • Marshall: Think about it. We've had unprotected sex 203 times in the past four months. (high fives Lily) Obviously, I'm the problem.
Barney: "Problem?" You can't get a girl pregnant—that's the dream! I'd give my first-born to not be able to have children.

    • Ted: I thought [Sandy] needed to listen to Common Sense and Reasonable Discourse.
Robin: Oh, God, tell me those aren't the names of your fists?
Ted: They're my feet. I'm actually more of a kicker.

    • Marshall: I've been with Barney since 9:00 AM. Between the sexual harassment seminar all morning and the secretary beauty pageant all afternoon, he hasn't left my sight.
