This was one of the worst season finales ever! That whole Ted & Robin deal has been annoying & stupid since day one (totally bad karma to be the catalyst for a breakup the way Robin was w/Ted & Veronica) & Marshall & Lily breaking up was absolutely horrible!!! They're the best part of the show!!! It's one thing to have cold feet & to wonder 'what if I pursued this dream' but to break your engagement to the man you love?!?! No, that's just wrong!!! This might as well have been the series finale if they don't bring Marshall & Lily back together & break up Ted & Robin. Let's face it, Robin's a pain in the a$$ & doesn't deserve someone who loves her as much as Ted does. Marshall & Lily were the best, this ending sucked! Worst episode ever!!!moreless
"Come On" is an awesome season finale for How I Met Your Mother. In this episode, Ted is trying to win Robin's heart. I love how Amy Acker guest stars in this episode and she plays a girl named Penelope. I love how she tries to teach Ted how to do a rain dance when she has never actually done a rain dance herself. I love how Ted makes up his own rain dance and makes it rain. I love how he goes to Robin saying he did the rain dance to make it rain, so her camping trip with Sandy would get cancelled. The episode definitely had sad part with Lilly leaving Marshall. I give this episode a 10/10.moreless
I admit it, I like Ted and Robin. I find it believable that he keeps coming back to and for her. I guess though I have some concerns about what happens next. According to Future Ted, Robin isn't the one. Oddly enough, that makes me a little sad, because I think the writers have done an outstanding job showing how right they are for each other in so many ways. I guess the Marshall and Lily storyline had to go this way. It is TV, people are always going off to find themselves. It will be interesting to see how all of the characters react to Lily's departure. Marshall and Lily's relationship kind of acted as foundation for the rest of the group. The last scene of this episode was perfect. Ted in the cab completely excited about finally beginning his relationship with Robin contrasted perfectly with Marshall sitting in the rain clutching Lily's engagement ring. I consider this show somewhat of a guilty pleasure. I started watching while sick, but the last scene was really well done. Here's hoping it provides a good jumping off point for next season.moreless
This Has To Be One Of The Most Amazing Season Finales I've Seen!
You Cant Piss Off The Universe =) But He Just Made it Rain!
Barney & Ted's 'Fight' In The Bar, About Penelope Was Pure Genius, 'Ted Your Forcing Me To Be The Voice Of Reason, And Its Not A Good Look For Me' I Would Say The Only Let Down To This Episode Was When Lily & Marshall Go To Dinner At Red Lobstar, I Just Found it Pointless. However The Scene After Makes Up For It. 'Why Do You Want Me To Pause' Such A Great Scene!!! The Major Part Of This Episode Was The Hilarious Rain Dance!Very Beautifully Done =) The End Song, This Modern Love, By Bloc Party, Is A Personal Favorite Of Mine. The Scene Between Robin & Ted, Gave Me Amazing Hope, Since They Are My Fave Couple. & Just To Sayy POOR MARSHALL =( With Amazing Guest Stars From The Angelverse =) Makes This An Amazing Season Finale!moreless
This was one of the best series finale ever. It had everything. It was funny, romantic, and sad. I enjoyed every second of it. The rain dance was hilarious. And it was great to see Ted and Robin together. Though i was really sad when lilly and marshal broke up. the last scene in which marshal and ted were sitting together was pure gold. I can't wait to start watching the second season. I hope it is just as good if not better then this season. I got a feeling that Robin is not the mother. Only time will tell.moreless
