How I Met Your Mother

"Drumroll, Please" picks up immediately after the end of the last episode, "The Wedding."

Ted has met Victoria at Claudia's wedding. The two hit it off and are flirting back and forth. They agree to not exchange names so they will have a memory of one perfect evening together at the wedding. At first, Victoria uses the name Buttercup and Ted uses the name Lando Calrissian--until Barney unwittingly ruins it by bluring out Ted's real name.

Ted and Victoria dance, flirt and sneak off together, finding an empty room with a grand piano. Ted plays while Victoria tap dances and the two agree to almost but not quite kiss, thus not ruining the moment. Also on the agenda, Victoria does summersalts while making Ted hold her shoes.

Ted is unaware that Robin was able to come to the reception late looking for him. She sees Ted with Victoria and realizes she has feelings for Ted. As she sits in the bathroom sobbing, Victoria comes in and comforts her, revealing that she's not a guest of the bride or groom but that she made the cake.

At the end of the evening, Ted laments that all the great memories will be ruined by the one of Victoria walking out without him. Victoria has him close his eyes and she leaves.

The next day, Ted tells Marshall and Lily about Victoria and their pact. Marshall is in heaven over the wedding cake and wants more. Lily and Marshall tell Ted he has to find Victoria and talk to her again.

Ted calls Claudia on her honeymoon and she says there was no Victoria on the guest list. Ted is upset, until he realizes Barney hooked up with a bridesmaid and she might know Victoria. Ted has Barney call and they try to identify the girl by her shoes--which were brown with snowflakes.

Robin comes to Lily and confesses she was there and has feelings for Ted. She also tells LIly she knows who Ted's mysterious dream woman is and debates on what she should tell Ted--the name and way to contact his dream woman or that she loves him. as Robin goes down to the bar to talk to Ted, his cell phone rings. It's Claudia again who after her new husband got after her and having a drink at the airport bar, tells Ted she knows the woman. Ted realizes it's the woman from the Buttercup bakery.

Ted, Marshall and Barney grab a cab and head to the bakery. Marshall wants a cupcake while Ted wonders if he should go in or respect the pact he and Victoria made. Barney finally gets him to go in. Ted goes into the bakery and sees Victoria. She turns around, expresses delight at seeing Ted and the two embrace and kiss...
