    I hear ya, but i'm not sure how that would happen. I mean, i think sometimes that maybe she has already been on the show, but Ted couldn't have know her or else that would be how they met. So at the same time, for them to meet and then show a relationship develop, it would be anti clamatic. When Ted gets a girlfriend now, we know it's not the mother because he would have told us. So the only exciting thing about him being in a relationship is knowing that somone new is around the corner.



    I feel it will be really challenging for the creators to fully capture the anticipation that has been building up for 7 years. I can't really picture what it will br like. I really hope they don't pull some crap like "remember back in 2008 when i was at that place and i met that girl, well she was at the wedding and I had already met her" crap.

    I wasn't expecting the pregnancy thing because they were saying that lilly was exploding from both ends... thats not morning sickness.


    I only got it when marshal never got sick. and i loooove that barneys getting married yeah!

    I haven't watched it since it aired, but, according to my faulty memory, they didn't say that Lily WAS "exploding out of both ends." It was only the gang saying that they're speculating that Lily was exploding out of both ends. (Maybe Lily told Marshall that when someone describes a person as being that sick, the implication is that they're exploding out of both ends.)


    I don't really remember how exactly that line occurred, but I seem to remember that Lily actually wasn't described that way, only it was implied and speculated.

    I really hope it's Robin and I also believe it's Robin... Simply because it just makes a lot of sense to have them end up together. If you don't, you have to find someone for both... And not make it look cheesy and "LAZY"

    I think it will be Nora but im hoping it's Robin. That cab scene was awesome bewteen Barney and Robin. Plus with Barney and Robin getting together you wont need a whole other Robin storyline( love interest ) this way we can focus on the Mother!


    I do hope it's Robin... just because of the look on her face when she saw Barney looking after Nora. (The cab scene was adorable!)


    But I guess, even if it's Robin we won't see them getting back together until the end of season 7 for two reasons.
    1) Barney is totally into Nora right now.
    2) in "Hopeless" when Robin's old crush was talking on the phone in the end about this being over, Narrator!Ted said "it wasn't. But more on that later..." or something like that. of course this could be a red herring. But I guess we'll be seeing him again next season.



    The episode was ok. It was predictable... I knew it wouldn't be Punchy and I had a feeling it would be Barney's wedding for a while now, but actually seeing it surprised me nevertheless. Also, the second Lily started throwing up I knew she'd be pregnant.


    Really glad Zoey's gone... I'm looking forward to finding out how she fits into the picture anyway. As someone already posted, all of Ted's relationships are somehow linked to eachother.

    I don't think it was mentioned in this thread yet, I just sort of ctrl+f searched for the word episode to see if it showed up.


    Anyways, I would like to point out that the same clip from the wedding where Ted is the best man appears in both the first and last episodes of this season. The things they say are word for word, and what they're wearing (Lily's dress especially points that out) is the same in both clips. This shows that where Ted meets his future wife is at Barney's wedding.


    I would say there is likely 1 season left to this series, where they lead up to Barney's wedding as the season finale. After that, there may be one more season, but it will likely be much like the last season of Scrubs. Where they simply went one season too long. However, I don't think they will do like they did on the second last season of Scrubs, and give an ending that summed everything up perfectly well and then decided to take it further when it wasn't necessary.
