Robin or Nora?

    Who would you really like Barney to end up with, Robin or Nora? Not who you think he should be with, but who you want him to be with.


    I personally would rather him marry Nora, but i understand that he will probably end up with Robin because of the history and storyline. There is also the reference to Aunt Robin and Uncle Barney. Dont get me wrong, i like Robin's character but i would prefer it if she married someone else.


    What's your opinion?

    I'd actually prefer he marries Robin not just because there is history there but because there is love and the both of them are just denying it.

    Did you understand one thing ?


    punchy's wedding [ when barney and robin are dancing ] is after that barney asks Nora out for coffee !


    if barney and Nora were back together then barney should not be too close to robin at wedding !


    is that mean Nora and barney were not back together or broke up before punchy's wedding ?!


    think about it?


    could that be the end of " barney - Nora " ?!


    well , i hope barney end up with robin !

    Don is really out of the picture now. The storyline didn't work. And Don is in another city.


    I'd actually prefer Nora over Robin right now. Because I no longer trust the writers to get Barney/Robin right (because they sure crashed and burned in season 5).


    I also think there's a little too much of the friends getting together as lovers. I'd prefer to see some outsider come in.

    Nora. He loved her from the first moment, whereas Robin meant nothing to Barney for a long time.

    Yese, but you are forgetting Barney's rule - never make plans with a girl farther out than you have dated her. So even if he is dating Nora, it wouldn't be long enough to warrant him asking her to the wedding. Also, we can only assume that the invitations have been sent and the RSVP's received by the end of the last season.

    Barney has to end up with Robin. He can't marry Nora, she's been in what, 2-3 episodes? Seriously, I will be SO mad if he marries Nora!

    I would prefer Nora. I think Robin and Barney are great together, but I don't want them to try and follow a Friends situation where they are all intermarried and stuff. Plus Nora is awesome.

    as long as it was written correctly, i wouldn't mind who barney ended up with.


    just from the constant uncle barney and aunt robin references, i just think it will be those two who end up together.



    on a side note: not really liking robins shorter hair =P

    I prefer robin, Barney has no chemistry whats so ever with Nora. Plus i can't stand how she talks. Its just so smooth with Barney and Robin, it's perfect, im glad that the writers broke them up though, that way it gave their relationship time to grow.

    Plus at the end of "The Best Man" episode, Lily tells Ted that the "bride" needs to see him. If Nora is the bride, why does is she so close to Ted, Its definetly Robin. Yay.

    Them having Lily come in and say the bride needs to see Ted is a BLATANT attempt at fooling us into thinking the bride is Robin. ...which is why I lean towards Nora over Robin, because that's how HIMYM's writers work.

    I think Nora would be better, since he was head over heals over her, and not so much with Robin. For a time, yes, but not very openly. It's probably because they were friends, but openness counts.

    I think he'll end up with Robin though. Why would Nora want to talk to Ted at the wedding? It's more likely that Robin would like to talk to Ted.

    Actually, when i watched that it seemed as though Lily and Ted were confused of why the bride wants to talk to him.

    I got a crazy idea, that has probobly already been talked about. Or not because its to crazy. But here it is.

    The line: Kids, this is how i met your mother does not imply that the kids are Teds. Only that they are kids, and that he met there mother. Im thinking that he met there mother, maybe even fell in love with her, but ended it and then got together with Aunt Robin. And the girl that is the kids mother got married to Barney...
