  • Barney maybe a father, which gets Marshall and Lily thinking about having a baby, and Lily turns to Ted and Robin to help make the decision. Barney creates a holiday to celebrate not being a father.

    Happy Not A Father's Day!!

I have to say one of my favorite aspects of HIMYM is when they use another seemingly innocent word in the place of a more risque one, case in point 'dinner' for 'sex'. In this case they took it one step further by offering an extra joke the whole spicy pork inuendo. That being said, drunk Lily might be better than angry Ted, this is the second incident where she really let loose, the first being her wedding, and now her baby discussion. Watching her go down the hallway on a desk chair with a fire extinguisher and then going down naked, props to the Asian business man for noticing. Also props to bringing Dan Lauria Jack Arnold, The Wonder Years) as Marshall and Barney's boss at Goliath National Bank.

Robin and Ted had an interesting conversation about children, listing the pros and cons, and when they arrive at the bar their witty back and forth comebacks about Ted being a woman and Robin being heartless were great, it is why I love them, they are so mismatched. Barney stooped to a new low this week, he invented a holiday to celebrate being single, wow. There were greeting cards and gifts and a fraternity of bros who at first glance were awesome, but then the cheerleader affect kicked in and poor Barney realized his holiday was not so awesome. The scene where he is praying and answers his phone and then leaves after finding out he is not a dad was priceless.

In the end no one was having a baby or at least was planning to...
