How I Met Your Mother Season 8 Episode 15

In a cameo scene featuring Dave Coulier; he says (and signs) "Cut. It. Out." (his famous punchline from the sitcom Full House), to which Future Ted (Bob Saget) says "I always liked that Joke". This is a reference to Dave Coulier's role as Joey Gladstone in the sitcom Full House in which Bob Saget portrayed Danny Tanner. Danny and Joey were best friends in the sitcom.

Dave Coulier's remarks ("It wasn't me. Why does everyone always think it's me?") saying Robin's song wasn't about him, make allusion to the widespread rumor that Alanis Morrisette's song "You Oughta Know"was directed at him. Coulier confirmed this rumor during an interview with the Cleveland Leader, however Morrisette never confirmed.
