How I Met Your Mother

Marshall and Lily's wedding day is here. Both of them envisioned a small intimate wedding in the park, surrounded by close friends with an acoustic guitarist. However, the small intimate wedding soon becomes a large elaborate wedding, with all their relatives and then some. Everything is going wrong for Lily. Her high school boyfriend Scooter shows up to break off the wedding, her harp player is in labor, and her flowers won't be delivered in time for the ceremony. Things aren't going much better for Marshall. His hair goes from highlighted tips, to a large bald patch right through the middle. Both Marshall and Lily need some time away from the wedding action, so they go to a park accompanied by Robin, Ted, and Barney. There, Ted suggests having the intimate wedding they always wanted. With Marshall's bald patch covered by a hat, the small wedding begins, just with their close friends. Miraculously, even the acoustic guitarist shows up, playing Jesus, Joy of Man's Desiring. Marshall and Lily are married by Barney, who tries his hardest not to break into tears while officiating. Finally, Marshall and Lily are married. They have their large church wedding, but according to Ted, that is not the wedding they remember when they think back on the day. They remember the intimate park wedding.
