Episode Recap

Because Robin is not currently working, she receives an immigration deportation letter giving her seven days to find work before she is forced to return to Canada. She attempts to audition for the News 10 host position, but becomes worrisome during her on-camera performance because she does not have an ending "catch phrase" like the other candidates. She awkwardly mends the problem by ending her interview with the phrase, "wear a condom."

Desperate and in need of a job fast, Robin agrees to the Barney Stinson way of nailing a job: the video resume. His resume revolves around the theme of the Possimble, where he advertises himself as the mediating point between possibility and impossibility. Robin does not see how breaking
bricks with her head and wearing an Amazon warrior outfit will get her job and refuses to continue the production of her resume. Hopeless and depressed, Robin succumbs to auditioning for the degrading position of lottery girl only to find that she is not good enough to land that job either. Robin proceeds to pack up for Canada and spend her last few hours in the states with Lily, Marshall, and Ted; however, Barney stops the adieus when he announces that Robin is the new daytime host for Channel 12 because he finished and submitted her video resume without her.

Meanwhile, Ted, Marshall, and Lily rethink their resumes and consider trimming the irrelevant achievements of their past. Marshall still has his stunning dunking record at a Minnesota college game while Lily still lists her ability to consume 28 hot dogs in 8 minutes while Ted still advertises his college DJ identity. Mortified by his true reason for not playing anymore, Marshall reveals that he has "dancer's hip," a condition common among ballerinas. Ted, Lily, and Robin proceed to make fun of him the entire week, but he confidently admits to Lily later on that he is a dancing fiend and is proud to be one. In the end, Ted and Marshall proceed to delete their past achievements on their resumes while Lily does an update of 28 hot dogs to 33.
