How I Met Your Mother

Though a snow storm is brewing, Barney and Ted decide to set up dates with two young out of towners. Barney tells Ted to play it cool and keep the invitations general. But Barney frequently interrupts their conversation with the girls by pulling Ted aside to remind him to not be specific.

The guys show up at McLaren's the following evening only to find an empty bar, a blizzard outside, and neither of their dates. Bored as can be, the boys beg the owner to let them watch the bar while he attends to some charity work. The girls finally show up along with the entire Arizona Tech Marching Band.
Overwhelmed but having a blast, the boys begin to bartend and serve drinks but are struck by reality when the owner Charlie calls of his return in five minutes. Barney and Ted proceed to push the entire band upstairs to his apartment to continue partying and they offer to "return the favor" one day.

Meanwhile, Marshal and Lily debate the rituals of their relationship as they begin to enter the mature stages. Lily traditionally brings Marshall a six pack of beer from the place she visited and Marshall always picks her up from the airport. Both decide to disregard the ritual this time around but change their minds. Marshall ends up hurriedly driving with Robin to the airport, and Lily ends up searching for beer upon arrival but can only find a keg for purchase. The show plays as if Lily and Marshall both arrive at the airport on the same day, but both arrive on different days, different times because Lily's flight gets canceled. Either way, both simultaneously find each other the day Lily's flight actually arrives, and Marshall greets her with the Arizona Tech Marching Band. The favor is returned.
