Marshall leaving the bar at the end with Lily marks the first time a character has exited the booth towards the camera. In previous episodes, different camera angles have shown that the booth is actually against a wall, which is why the characters have always exited away from the camera.

When Marshall finds his "You can call me Beercules" video on the Internet, the subsequent video made following his later visit to his old friend Peter is already shown in "Other Views".

When Ted calls Marshall on his phone, which ten years from now is supposed to show holograms of the caller, Marshall's hologram is shown with the same hairstyle he wears today, but in previous episodes showing flash forwards to ten years from now, like the college reunion in "How I Met Everyone Else," or when he opened Lily's death packet in "We're Not From Here," Marshall had a receding hairline to the point of baldness, just like Marvin, Sr.

When Lily was lying on the couch at the end of this episode, main entrance to her apartment was behind her head. When Marshall came in to the living room he came from the kitchen direction, without his jacket and with glass of wine and there was no possibility that Lily didn't see him before, but she was surprised to see him.

When solving the love story between Ted and Zoey, Marshal used Clue characters. Ted wore only purple throughout the episode as Professor Plum, Zoey wore only white as Mrs. White, Barney only wore green as Mr. Green, and Honey only wore red as Miss. Scarlet. The Captain was just Colonel Mustard.

At the beginning of the episode, when Robin has cooked dinner, it appears to be burnt. Robin says she thought the oven was Celsius, but Celsius readings are lower than Fahrenheit, so the food would have not been burnt.

When Lily tells Ted about the skateboarding dog, we see the event in flashback with Robin, Barney, and Marshall on the left and Lily and Zoey on the right by the bar. But when Marshal tells Ted he changed the course of Blitzstory, we see the same flashback, but this time The Blitz is suddenly there and is the most prominent person in view.

At the bar, Ted points out the route on his laptop. When they all jump up and start racing each other Ted takes the laptop with him. As soon as they leave the bar the laptop is gone and we don't see it again this episode.
