Show Summary

How to Eat like a Child is a one-hour musical comedy television special of 1981, adapted from a book by Delia Ephron. The series of songs and comedy skits in the "How to" series portrays a child's perspective on the adult world, with catchy opening lines "When you're a child, having fun is what you do for a living". Dick Van Dyke is the guest adult on the show, who joins a group of 9 boys and 6 girls in the age group 7 to 13 to explore childhood. Some of these children, including Billy Jacoby, Georg Olden and Corey Feldman, went on to make a name for themselves in the entertainment industry.
