      • Avril: (submitting to her father's request to ask Charles for some money for the Mermaid) Alright, I'll ask him. It's pointless but I'll ask him.
        Jack: When?
Avril: We're going over to France for the weekend, to taste some of Charles' wine from his vineyard.
Jack: Wine? Then get him pissed. Get him pissed, and then ask him.

      • Assessor: I think we'll take a look at the boat shed now. Would you like to accompany me Mr Rolfe?
Jack: Not at all old fellow, we don't keep the family silver in there any more. (the assessor leaves) Pinstriped parasites.
