Showtime was supposed to announce in early May if Huff would continue with a third season. I have hunted the internet far and wide for anything regarding this and have not found anything. Anyone know what the word is?

There is a doubt if Huff will return for a third or not? I thought this show was popular enough to ensure it continues on? Oh well... the general public is weird like that.

After the first season they was unsure whether to create and air a second season. Therefore, with no sources in mind, I have my doubts about a third one.

But maybe somebody would enlighten us with some official ratings?

I think the show is well written and the acting is superb.

I sure hope they havea 3rd season.

I seem to recall talk 1/2 way through the first season about them already signing on for a 2nd and 3rd season very quickly (which everyone thought was a big gamble).

That's just too damn bad. I really liked how the second season had matured. Huff was one of the few shows that I have deemed worth watching.

    *sigh*

Yet another great TV show pulled because studio execs are only in this for the money. Guess I shouldn't be that surprised.

Ah c'mon! Every show I like always ends up being cancelled. It's always the high-quality shows that--for some reason--no one ever watches. First Wonderfalls, Dead Like Me, now this. Why can't execs just try to forget about money sometimes and try to ride out the storm or promote it more. When you have a gem of a show like this I think you should try harder. Oh well...figures...

When you have such a great show that has some great talent why wouldn't you want more people to know about it. They barley talked about Huff outside of SHOwtime, don't they want other people to join SHOwtime?

The reason given was that it didn't get the ratings they wanted... Utter bull. Showtime doesn't release its ratings, so that seems rather fishy to me. I've spoken to a lot of people who pay $12 a month to watch Huff, Weeds, and The L Word (myself included).

Showtime really screwed the pooch on this one. I'm signing every petition I can find and will probably write Showtime. Please write as well, because if it's ratings they're worried about, a massive write-in should show them that the show does have support, and sometimes it takes more than two seasons for it to really show.

Surely its not too much to ask for a cable show to continue... they pocket alot of money anyway so it would hardly be a big loss.

Yeah that was the worst season finale ever. Showtime should atleast allow 4 or more episodes so that Huff could have an actual ending.
