Dammit, this was a great show. How do you feel about the news that Human Target was shot down by FOX for a third season?

Crap, another good show cancelled by Fox (see Firefly, Doll House, T:SCC, et al).

After the last few episodes of the season I was hoping it would make the cut. Maybe another company will pick it up - FX, A&E, USA, etc.

I wish Guerrero would get his tackle box and pay Fox a visit.

They took a gamble and retooled the second season, and it didn't pay off. They pissed off and/or lost the viewers they already had, and probably didn't gain many new ones. People liked the dynamic of Chance/Winston/Guerrero, and wanted to see their stories built upon. Instead they were made into second bananas on their own show. They should have done another retooling once they realized how poorly received the Ilsa Pucci character was, but I'm assuming that either the episodes were all already shot or else they were just being stubborn. It really doesn't matter now.

The first season was great. The second season barely acknowledged it. The storyline with the Old Man and the hints that Catherine may not really be dead should have been followed up on. Too many mistakes made in the second season. Maybe the third season could have rectified them. We'll never know.

So disappointed. I see Fox canned Lie to Me and Chicago code. So you'd think Fox would keep a show that at least has some sort of a following. So friggin dumb. :sigh: At least Fringe is still around...
I hope some other network takes a shot with Human target. CW, nbc?

i wish they had just cancelled it after the first season instead of turning it into crap during the second.

I agree with most of what was said. the retooling was a shock. I found Ilsa to be a bit of dead weight to the show and the younger female was just a little too much Juevy Hall for me. I still stuck with it because it still worked, but no question it was a different show and they lost their core audiance.

Dug the Lee Majors episode and think anyone at Fox that would like to make a buck woul Propose a Fall Guy movie with Daman and Affleck.

canceling a great show is ridiculous even if the ratings were going down. they are just plain lazy to work hard enough to get the ratings back up

ilsa might have dragged the show down but they could have cut her off at any point like they do with other characters, but like i said they were to lazy to creatively eliminate her it was easier to just destroy the whole show

Send emails to Fox requesting the reinstatement of HUMAN TARGET as well as sending a request to SPIKE TV execs to pick up the show and continue new programming. This show is too good to be tossed in the trash bin of yesteryear TV....SAVE HUMAN TARGET.

I was really disappointed. I was hoping the status announcement stall was to provide time for a back-room overhaul of the show premise; to get it back on its original track, and then come out smokin' for a season 3. As usual, FOX, the network of little-to-no-patience-and commitment, threw in the towel early. All they had to do was throw in Ames and Ilsa, and they'd have been good to go...

I'm very sorry to see this one go...

That's what you get from a company run by a greedy corrupt Australian piece of turd. Expect more of your fave shows to get the axe from this descendant of criminals.

This next season of Fringe will be the last one, the writers better prep to end it properly.

This was one of my favorite shows, but went down the drain when Indira Varma (Ilsa Pucci) joined the cast. I still cannot believe how many good shows have been cancelled this season.
