    • NOTES (2)

      • Allusion: The title of the episode refers to the character Fagin from the Charles Dickens novel Oliver Twist. In the novel, Fagin is an adult who leads a group of children, teaching them to engage in criminal activities while providing them shelter.

Unlike the character in the episode, Fagin was based on old anti-Semitic caricatures. Dickens later removed many of the anti-Semitic references, and also created a "good" Jewish character in Our Mutual Friend, his last completed novel.

Timothy Jecko is credited as Thimothy Jecko.

Ronald G. Joseph is credited as Ron Joseph.
