Mill Creek Entertainment Oct. 7 has inked a new DVD deal with Stephen J. Cannell Productions to distribute seven new TV titles from the Cannell library.

The series include "21 Jump Street," with Johnny Depp; "The Commish," with Michael Chiklis ("The Shield"); "Tenspeed & Brown Shoe," with Jeff Goldblum; "Silk Stalkings," starring Rob Estes ("90210"); "Renegade," with Lorenzo Lamas; "Hunter," starring former Los Angeles Rams legend Fred Dryer; and "Greatest American Hero," with William Katt.

Release dates, including possible Blu-ray editions, will be announced in the coming weeks.

Anchor Bay Entertainment previously distributed several of the Cannell series, including "21 Jump Street" and "The Commish," on DVD.

Minneapolis-based Mill Creek currently distributes seven other Cannell TV series, such as the first season of "Wiseguy," starring Ken Wahl; "21 Jump Street" spin-off "Booker," starring Richard Grieco; and the complete series "Cobra," starring Michael Dudikoff.

"While some of these shows have previously appeared on DVD, not all seasons have been available to the public," said Ian Warfield, president and COO of Mill Creek Entertainment. "It is our intention to provide new and long-standing fans the shows they love at the value prices they have come to expect."

Looks like it! It even mentions Mill Creek as one of the distribution rights' owners. Hopefully this will work so that we'll be able to get the rest of the seasons on DVD, too. Smile Can't wait!
