Episode Summary

When Stacie claps eyes on her estranged husband Jake who left her five years ago taking everything she owned with him, she's certain he is to be the gang's next mark. Having graduated from the short con world to the professional poker circuit, he's good and he won't be an easy target. But the team swears to exact revenge on him for Stacie.
Is Stacie really prepared to leave her friends for love? Or has she really got another card up her sleeve....?moreless

  • Stacie's ex-husband shows up and becomes the group's "special friend" of the episode.

Stacie's husband cleaned out her bank accounts, sold her house, and all of her possessions. Now he is back and wants her back, although this comes through mainly as some sort of weird pissing contest with Mickey.

The group decides that revenge is the best medicine, although the tension lies is whether or not Stacie is willing to actually grift her ex.

Normally I find the twists and turns of the show to be really cool, but for whatever reason this episode seemed longer than it needed to be. However, the joy in the episode is in the fact that Stacie's ex really is a jerk and you really root for the gang to screw him over. I find I like the show best when the person they are grifting from really deserves it and this jerk certainly fits the bill.

Again, I don't want to say too much because I don't want to give the episode away.moreless
