Baboon is a flowers salesman in this episode. Not a very successful one, though. Right next to his stand is the plants museum, where Weasel has just brought one of the rarest plants on Earth: a thistle.

Baboon decides that a pretty flower like that would bring him more customers. He manages to trick the museum guard and take the Thistle out of the museum at night. He also gives it a pretty planter, a tin can, painted in pink and with some flowers on it. However, the Thistle looks like it's dying, thanks to Baboon's man-handling (or baboon-handling, in this case).

Weasel intervenes and helps Baboon, this time. The Thistle needs a vein transplant to live. Baboon offers himself as a donor, and the operation is a success. Not only that, but the Thistle comes to life! Not only that, but Baboon falls in love with it! A cute montage about Baboon's and Thistle's love follows, in the vein of the Disney movies (especially The Little Mermaid).

Baboon and the Thistle decide to get married, and Weasel is the one to marry them. The story ends as the entire Earth is now populated by Thistle, and they are no longer that rare, or extinct.

A cute episode, with some memorable scenes and quotes. One of the few episodes the entire family could actually enjoy.moreless
