    • TRIVIA (2)

      • This appears to be the only episode without special effects (not counting large props) - the actors never had to "freeze" for any "genie magic", since Jeannie was locked in the safe.

      • Plot Inconsistency:  The writers apparently left out the realization that if the safe had been crushed at the scrap yard, it would have exploded.  Tony and Roger seem to forget this when they think Jeannie is gone.

    • NOTES (2)

      • This is the only episode without optical effects (not counting large props) - that is, the actors didn't have to "freeze" for any genie magic, since Jeannie was locked in the safe.

      • Susan Howard, who played Miss Temple, would later go on to work with Larry Hagman several years later playing Donna Culver Krebbs, the wife of J.R. Ewing's half-brother Ray Krebbs, on prime time soap "Dallas". Hagman, of course, played everyones favorite villain, J.R. Ewing.
