During the show's original run, the network forbade Barbars Eden's navel to be shown on her skimpy costume. But in this movie it was allowed.
Wayne Rogers wasn't the only cast member of "M*A*S*H" to appear in an episode of "Jeannie". Jamie Farr, who played Klinger, appeared in the first season episode "Get Me to Mecca on Time". Also, Rogers replacement Mike Farrell, who played B.J. Honeycutt, appeared in Part 3 of the four parter "Genie, Genie, Who's Got the Genie".
As was predicted in the episode "The Birds and the Bees Bit", Tony and Jeannie did have a son that they named Anthony (aka. T.J.) and that he wouldn't inherit his Jeannie's powers. However, they never did have a daughter that Haji predicted that they would have.

Because Larry Hagman was not available to reprise his role of Tony Nelson due to filming "Dallas", the producers instead used "MASH" veteran Wayne Rogers.
