In the scene with Tony and Dr. Bellows at Tony's front door (exterior), the number of Tony's house can be seen as 1137 while Dr. Bellows' future address was stated as 1140 Oak Grove. In the fourth season, it would be established that Tony's house address is 1020 Palm Drive.
The Bellows' future home is going to be built on a vacant lot located across the street from the Nelson home. However, the exterior shot of their finished house (shown in Episode #72, which also happens to be the Stephens' home from the TV series, "Bewitched") is the same house shown in the background when Dr. Bellows and General Peterson are walking towards the vacant lot, where they find Captain Nelson sitting there, drinking tea.
Tony and his date arrive at the Bellows' home to play a game of cards. The exterior shot of the Bellows home is the Stephens' home from the TV sitcom, "Bewitched," which has been seen on the corner of the same street as the Nelson home since "I Dream of Jeannie" began in 1965. However, in Episode #14, we learn that Dr. Bellows has bought a vacant lot across the street from Captain Nelson and is planning to build a home there. But in this particular episode, Episode #72, the Bellows' home is no longer across the street, nor is it a newly-built home.
{on trying to convince Tony about seeing a house on his vacant lot across the street..}
Dr. Bellows: Now, Captain, since both of us are basically scientists, that we know, that with modern methods of pre-fabrication, it is entirely possible to build a house within 20 minutes! You believe that, don't you, Captain?
Tony: No, sir.
Dr. Bellows: I don't, either!
Tony: (laughing hysterically as Bellows approaches Jeannie's house) Dr. Bellows -- he just bought this lot. He knows there's no house on it. And he's going to want me to explain ... and there is no explanation. Jeannie, do you want me to plead insanity?
Roger: I've never been to Jeannie's house before.
Tony: Well, where do you meet?
Roger: In front of the public library.
Tony: She must have a house. Or are you going to be married at the returned book counter?
Jeannie's Mother: Tell this "Roger" you are going to marry him.
Jeannie: Oh, but that would be dishonest!
Jeannie's Mother: Show me a woman who is honest and I will show you an old maid.
Jeannie's Mother: (to Tony) May the vultures descend,and pick your bones.
In the actual script for this episode, Jeannie's "parents" are referred to as "Mr. and Mrs. Prescott". All references to their last name were apparently eliminated when the script was actually filmed. The actor and actress portaying them were still credited on screen as playing "The Prescotts".
The episode finished filming October 21, 1965
